Alright!!! Congrats on top row man!! I don’t know if it was done by design, but when you click on the thumbnail for this awesome illustration, it shows your first post, where you started. Then you get to this piece.

I think this is a great thread for illustrators to have a look at, not only for inspiration, but also to show a great workflow AND a progression of skill through practice. You should really post the rest of the steps you went through here as well. I love where this came from, and others would appreciate it too, believe me.

Please keep up this kind of stuff Digitaldecoy. You’ll definitely carve out a nice place for yourself (if you haven’t already!)

I’ve been reading the work in progress on cgtalk of your work. You make me want to get up out of bed this morning and get working on my own composition. Outstanding work and very inspirational. I especially love the colour scheme you have chosen, its very comic book style and easy on the eye. The detail and amount of work gone into this is amazing. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Absolutely brilliant work. And very useful and well thought out presentation of stages and progress. This will become one of the classic tutorial examples of Zbrush for Illustration. :+1: :+1:

I must say, as an Illustrator, I’ve been feeling a bit outnumbered on the forum since Zbrush 3 came out. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Game modelers and Sculptors, but my focus and interest is Painting and Illustration. This post is like a breath of fresh air.
