I feel flattered by all your nice comments. Thanks to you all for your encouragement! It means a lot to me.

I had a look at my installation folder and it’s only a few days over 12 month later since I installed this awesome software. The community here on ZBrushCentral was a tremendous help for me learning ZBrush during this last year. What amazes me the most is, how so many techniques and applications of this software were developed by the users and how you can see brand new ground discovered nearly every day. I’m happy to be able to give at least something of this inspiration back to the community.

And as this is kind of a 1 year anniversary for me with ZBrush, I have a little present for you, who gave me so much inspiration over the past month.

These are three of my favourite MatCap Materials I created over the time. They are all composed of the same light setup and therefore can be used together on the same model with good effect. I hope you enjoy them!S2_Materials.jpgDD_S2_Materials01.zip (271 KB)

thanks so much! these are great materials

these mats look beautiful thank you so much… /bow

hey digitaldecoy, thanks for the mats, and yes I think that ZB central is the one of the best forums out there.

“Great stuff”…Daniel !..great to see a 2D man using this software !
To answer your question : " what exactly do you mean with global perspective? I guess you mean the plain orthografic perspective in ZBrush when the Draw Option “Perspective Distortion” is not used?" …global perspective was a great way to set “ONE” vanishingpoint on your canvas for all your models …now ZBrush uses a sort of individual perspective and vanishingpoint for every dropped,or live, model !..Sadly for those using ZBrush as an illustration tool, its kinda shifting towards a more modellers “perspective”
But in the end its just fantastic software and who knows perhaps a new kind of render-engine is in the make !
