It seems you have used materials similar to the stock Zbrush materials …
Ideally, seeing surfaces bleached by exposure to light.
Even the common grit seen on portions of walls closest to ground e.g. splashed mud or just dust that clings due to static electricity.
And how about debris that piles on top surfaces
Any such environment content either Photoshopped or compost generated,
gives a scene a convincing appeal .
Thx you very much, about the last image there is no photoshop in this case but only texturing and polypainting in Zbrush,
the material used is a reflected metal where i’ve simply adjusted the overwritecolor settings and what i want to create
about surface is exactly what you have perfectly explained.
About the process to release it: well i’ve written something previously on this thread all the answers are here
at the moment i don’t want to explain it in details step by step i’d like to release something i’m proud first (something with a cool character and a proper background)…still testing new forms and workflows to reach what i’ve in mind.
After that i’ll enter in all details for sure, could be stimulating. I prefer to see people experimenting with those things trough search and hard work you’ll come up with something in the same line but personal so that we can learn more from the efforts of everyone.
I don’t care what anyone says , I find your work rich in visual detail and envy the skill you are exhibiting in this thread and I
also think its a very personal statement of your " gestalt " or maybe more " weltschmertz "
Someday maybe I will be able to find a similar niche… Deke
I absolutely agree with your point of view. It is boring to follow tutorials step by step and your work would loose some of its magic when you show all of your tricks. I am also experimenting with that technics since I saw Gutalins outstanding objects but I´m far away from your results.
Your objects looks really good so far, but I think you could get much better images if you improve you materials, textures and renderings. Gutalin ie did not only invent a unique modelling technic is also an excellent mattepainter.
Keep on your cool experiments, you are on a good way.
Stone3D < Thx, u are right, actually i agree with you about texturing and rendering in effect i’m not so accurate i should improve this absolutely…at the moment i’m focused in particular to forms etc and that could be chaotic sometimes to manage. Gutalin is a master and as i’ve said more than one times i try not to copy him …for sure he is a strong influence as at the same time was Giger or other artists i worship. Let’s see what future brings
