What you expect me to be excited over this after making us wait like 3 years c’mon…
I’m freakin Jumpin for joy god dang it… ha ha. I just thought man i havn’t been on the forums for a browse for about 2 weeks…Thought i would see if there maybe, just possibly have anything about ZB 2.5 then…BAM right in my face was the post for ZB3 I had to rub my eyes in disbelief, could it be some sort of updated news… My god there was a release date even.
I havnt even begun to fully grasp ZB2 yet but now i am strungout like a junkie waiting for ZB3 to come out ( ok bit over the top with that comment) 
ok well i am excited as the most excited person in here after viewing that video. Then I recieved an email about the teaser from pixologic & had to just watch it again & again & again

The worst thing was that when I saw May 15 I thought it was March 15.
Can’t wait! I’m actually holding off on a lot of work anticipating being able to use the new features.

What will be even cooler is making the transpose links be exported to 3d apps as fk bone links each with their appropriate skin weights/deformations saved out in a file .
Maybe even saves out various alphas based on their pose to be used to drive pose deformations in 3d apps.
all you have to do in your 3d app will be to create a fancier rig with these links which come in with zbrush skin weights info.

Oh man I can’t wait, I feel sorry for their poor servers already, the amount of people downloading ZB3 all at the same time will be incredible.
The new features made me laughed of astonishment, it was a very strange sensation. I was so amazed all I did was laugh. Thank you for that =)

Amazing. But add me to the list of people who are alot more interested in having it run on the mac, than in buying and installing windows to jury rig a way to run it.
I’d been waiting on a purchase until this info came out. My copy is ordered, it should be here next week! The free upgrade is an amazing deal.

Excellent news on the Z3 release on May 15th, looks like you guys did a beautiful job on everything, looks SOOOO tight, but…
It would be an extra, extra nice, and very appreciated thing by the entirety of the Zbrush user community if you would surprise us (the drooling, teeth clenching, die hard-Zbrushers, the majority of which are now hunched over and staring at that May 15th release date with a maniacal look in their eyes) with an early-bird gift of a Z3 download, a slight jump on Z3’s general public release. You would put smiles on so many faces and get positive feedback on doing that kind of thing in the forums on such a level that it would probably make the news.
No one at Pixologic from that day on would be able to do any wrong in the eyes of many Z-brush users I’m sure. It would just be such an unexpected, wise, classy business move, that would make a lot of people genuinely happy big time. (Especially me, in that I’m working on first 3D demo reel and what a help it would be to me to have the opportunity to use Z3 now vs. in May in the creation of my reel so that I can have it done by June.)
Just thought I’d say my peace on that, either way looks like you guys did a fantastic job in Z3, truly blows several other applications doing the same thing (high detail displacement modeling) out of the water. –

I am so glad to get this great news. I’ve been dying for mesh extraction since I saw it demo’d at Siggraph. Makes my day!

Hrm, I thought that video was posted a long time ago on the 2.5 overview page. I could be mistaken though… either way, cool feature for sure.
