I would just like to say Thank you so much!! Since 1.23, I have learned so much! This is a hobby for me but it’s great to learn new things!! I have a good imagination so maybe I can do something now… lol
Thanks again,
wenna
So if it is then one just has to go back to default pose, change the model, then back to other pose?
Or Does Z know the ‘home pose’ if you will and PRESTO! we have asymmetrical modeling?
I’ll lay down $50 that you will!
Ryan, are you allowed to tell us if we can paint textures accross seams or multiple objects yet? I’d appreciate it because I need to know whether to upgrade my BodyPaint or not (I’d rather do it all in ZBrush).
Theres an offer on, but don’t want to take it yet in case I’ll be able to do it in Z3. I understand if you can’t say though, no prob’s
Yay, another non-linear workflow feature.
It is the non-linear aspect of ZB3 that is getting me excited. I find always having to keep technical considerations in the back of the mind while working a large ball-and-chain for my creativity.
I really appreciate Pixologic’s philosophy of freeing up the creative process when using software.
I agree.
Z3…Free your mind!
This is unbelievable! Wow!
Just to clear up some of my confusion. 3.0 will implement all features previously demonstrated as slated for 2.5? In short 2.5 has been renamed to 3.0?
Is there a bullet point/feature lust list entry this new release isn’t going to have? You guys might have to make an extra long or wide box with 6point type just to fit it all in!
Can’t wait for the next teaser video.
Are there any standard polygon manipulation tools?
I assume that surface and model rigs (shown for 2.5) are still there?
This is absolutely fantastic feature set! It should be called ZBrush 5! or 10!
Thank you for another awesome free upgrade Pixolator. You always over deliver on what we expect for a new version.
Well, if Lonie is going to be coming back to the forum I guess I’ll have to start posting too. Start thinking of new Monday Night challenges Mhalikus.
This looks amazing. I cant wait to get my hands on this.
Does the projection painting tools support layers? This is a very important feature that is needed. In a production environment you often need to color correct or manipulate different elements of a texture. This is much easier if you can keep the elements seperate.
Is there going to be a ZAPPLINK feature built in? If so LAYER SUPPORT PLEASE!!! If that could happen I could eliminate a certain software package from our pipeline completely.
Thanks,
R_Machine
You and Lonnie posting again would be wonderful!
And don’t you think that I already haven’t started thinking of new things to do for MNC!
I’m not trying to start you on a mad rant here because it seems your really miffed about this, but if you didn’t know it may be closer to two years after the windows version that we will see a Mac version. Last time I believe it took just over two years before they released Z2 for the Mac.
I wouldn’t expect Z3 for Mac until 2009 or 2010. That’s probably why they are offering those of you with intel Mac’s the oportunity to use the windows version this time.
Note By Moderator:
wierdPal, please verify the facts before posting predications based on miss information. ZBrush2 for the Macintosh was released 6 months following the Windows release.

Listen though, I don’t know about you but I think you’re feeling the same as me. I have said it many a time over and, well, I’ll say it again:
It is damn good to be back here.
And just it time too.
wow…
…just wow…
Alexia, I don’t know if this is a really dumb question or not, but, I have a question, if I may ask you about the concept sculpting feature.
Does that feature just project the concept sketch onto the model for more accurate reference for the artist, or does ZBrush actually calculate the geometry according to the sketches and conform the sculpting to match the concept. It can’t possibly be that easy - can it?
