That’s a good idea for a mac ad… white background w/ mac & pc guys.
Mac: Hey PC, what are you up to?
PC: Oh, I’m just playing the the latest and greatest software on the market.
Mac: Oh yeah? That’s cool. I guess I’ll be getting some tips from you in about 8 months when they release the mac version. Well, talk to you later…
PC: Hey, before you go… can you take these renders for me? I’d really like to put together a nice portfolio, but I don’t really have time because I’m enjoying Zbrush 3 so much.
Mac: Sure thing, I’ll just load it up in iPhoto while i listen to iTunes and cry myself to iSleep.
That’s simply hysterical hahaha, indeed a great idea.
As for Zbrush 3, I can’t wait; and I hope I’ve prepared myself to handle something with so many more capabilities, and potential. Great work guys :).
Is it just me or is the image and work during the concept sculpting part of the video remind anyone else of Alex Oliver’s work a.k.a alexleia? Seems like his drawing style from what i’ve seen of his work. If I was a betting man I’d might put up some $ on this guess. Luckily i’m not but still curious if it is his work  .
Though at the top left hand corner it has (Pixolators) name it appears… bleh thankfully I don’t gamble

Wow, Pixologic has taken things to an entire new level and set the bar once again. Amazing. Simply amazing.
My only question is: What am I supposed to do to hold myself over until May 15th?! That video was such a tease, I think I might have to go into hibernation or something just to pass the time.
Sculpting 3D in real time effortlessly to 20 million polygons without a supercomputer and without hiding everything but my thumb will impress me.
The other tools in the video look like amazing features, I hope they are as functional as they appear. I see the projection master button still there, why is that?
Looking forward to May where I hope I will be a little more delirious, seriously:lol:
Z 3 looks absolutely astonishing! I can’t wait to own it! Everything looks so user friendly!
I took like an hr trying to download a codec that would play the video; then I finally found out that quicktime alternative would play it! So if you’re having trouble viewing it in regular quicktime 7 try downloading Quicktime Alternative!
Am I to infer that this literally means that after the 15th, Pixologic will not exactly release the Mac version, but instead will only announce when they will release the Mac version? Meaning, we might not see a Mac version until June or July?
So I will need to purchase and install Parallels and Windows, an operating system I really don’t care for, on my Intel Mac, just so I can run ZBrush? I appreciate that this license offer is being made, but it’s just strange to say to a potential customer, “We want you to abandon your current OS and buy another operating system so you can use our program for a month or so.”
Others have been asking these same questions in this thread several times, but I have yet to hear any official word.
I’m very excited about what ZB3 looks like it can do and from what I’ve seen I REALLY want to include it in my pipeline. But I’m confused about how the Intel Mac community (and the Mac community as a whole) are being told to buy Windows. Please don’t take any of this as meanspirited. I’m just sort of confused.
This is looking good hopefully the next zbrush would handle smoothing groups better and be more game design friendly. Also, we need a damn lasso tool and a curve tool!
Has the ZB 3 UI been overhauled? It looks like there is a larger working area and it looks more like Mudbox. Does anyone else think so? I have only used the ZB 2 demo so maybe some of you ZB pro’s could help me out.
Thanks
Also I couldn’t tell if Pixologic was making a mac version or not. Anyone know?
