hi man
nice sculpts and good luck on the 3dt challenge
how many polys on the clown and wolverine, btw ?
thanks guys!
PaulZB: no it’s made from a basemesh given by 3dtotal for the Challenge. we can’t used another basemesh, that’s why i did another entry because i had used my one for TheClown which was from Zsphere yes.
brettSinclair: thanks man
cojoMan: The Clown is 740.000 and Wolverine is 1.5 mil but i could also let it to 750.000, i just worked a bit more on the wrinckle on the last level.
wow…your clown is great !
nice progress on your sketchbook ! very cool works !
the clown is wicked
héhé thanks guys, glad you like it
i decided this week-end to create a final image my wolverine speed sculpting bust. Render with MR in 3dsmax. Displacement+sss+photometric Light . All maps created and generated with Zbrush and Photoshop.
hope you like it. I did that in 1 day ( Texturing/Rendering ) so feel free to comment i might change a few things in the next few days
looks pretty cool sir Personally I feel the cavity effect is a bit too strong and black, especially on the face and the eyes look a bit like he’s crosseyed… I do like the overall composition and colour palette though and the black leather looks cool!
Great Wolverine! Really top work. The black leather looks fantastic. One crit though… you can’t see the underside of his nose. It looks like the leather goes up into his nostrils where there should be skin tone. Other than that I love it.
the leather looks FANTASTIC
thank you for your comments, will fix those issues asap
Here is the last and final version hopefully.
i tweaked the eyes, the cavity map, and overall i tried to give it a look a bit softer.
beautiful, nice work!
ncollings, you have some really kool stuff here man.
wolverine looks sweet man. Keep them comming.
Thanks guys. Here is another study, inspired by a sculpt from Jordu Schell.
Any C&C are welcome
