wow amazing detail great looking image, how much of that is normal mapped and displaced.
Very good work!
I would tone down the bump just a bit though, more like how it was in the previous image, and also halve the reflectivity of the eyes.
aesis412: thanks lan, well i used a displacement map and a bump map(cavity map from zbrush) .
pap87: thanks for the advice , i will try that for sure :).
I 'm gonna move on the denzel washington head now. Hope it will look better.
So here is an update for that one ( changed the textures a bit, decreased the bump value as well as the eyes reflection. )
The update before this one was better the bumps evened things out and gave the image some pop. It seems washed out it in the new one.
Wow, really awesome work man, the ape is really good. Keep on brushin’!

womball: you’re maybe right, i’m gonna make a last render with the value in btw those 2 renders. .

Nice sculpt and textures. Is there a specific film this look is based off of?
wow awesome work, really spot on, I think he looks closest to the American Gangster Denzel
thanks guys.
Bryan; yep i took the reference from the dvd Man on fire
Wow man, Denzel is looking awesome. Are you using sebcesoir skinmat for him too?
Sweet work
Goldenry: yep it’s still the Sebcesoir’s skinshader on denzel .
Ok Just can’t resist to attemp a challenge on the 3dtotal Forum.
The subject is Real-Life Cartoon ! I always wanted to do a version of “the clown” from Spawn, so it was just the perfect occasion !
Still want to fix a few areas but damn i already spent the 4 hours and it’s the time limit so had to stop !
Anyways here is my result.
i used a matcap created by Ralf Stumpf | Preview Render - Screengrab inside Zbrush.
