Just Fantastic renders , out of the box by a mile… super talent (tips hat)
all the best to you, you picked up a new fan here! thx for posting your work Lou
very nice sculpts. A creative variety of forms in all of them. I salute the effort small_orange_diamond
they are all awesome but the second 1 down is my favorite.
i want know how you use keyboard!
I’m a big fan of all kind of animals with scales…when I first saw the thumbnail of this new top row, snake?dragon?realistic?cartoon? After finished viewing all of these amazing design about dragons, I have to say, mate, this is really talent and beautiful art!
Ok serious question since this has been out for a little while now. Most artists look back at something they made and absolutely hate something about it. is there anything you hate about these dragons or is it all happy feelings and sun shine?
I saw this posted somewhere else the job is amazing. Love the variations on the dragons I would love to do something alike also.
Amazing… You have inspired me and teach me how to work on zbrush better… A big thanks to you
unonymouz_ thank you mate appreciate that!!
Lou Mareno_very kind of you, thank you!
kilik128_ Im using cintiq, so I overridden most of the shortcuts to the tablet.
The most useful ones maybe are quick subtool selection with I think alt or ctrl and click on the subtool you want, duplicate is also cool in some cases, ctrl+D I think, I’m not on my Zbrush pc now so I’m not sure exactly. but most of the features that have shortcuts assigned to them are labeled with the shortcut.
You can pretty much hot key it the way you feel will be the best for you.
darkmummy_ thank you, thats very kind!
Tyrone70_I understand what you’re asking, and been there lots of times :D, but I can’t say that I hate or would like to change nothing much about these dragon designs. I actually feel happy I did it, I was inspired to make something more out of this at the end of it.
Since they are all mostly quick 3d sketches, something to be worked on and developed further I really havent had time to attach my self to any of them, opposed to when I spend week or more on one design, when I feel very protective over my accomplishment.
I might have presented them like finished thing, but they are in the essence far from it. I would loved tho’ if I had more time to create more of complete body sketches. But I am developing couple of these into full body detailed worked out designs… and hopefully will be able to put some renders up soon.
ROlguin_Just do it man!
wintang_I’m happy if I did such a thing.
Man, great work. You have a really cool sense of creative proportion and fantastical anatomy.
I think the fact that you can do so many individually distinct variations within a seemingly narrow concept framework is evidence of a genuinely fertile imagination.
Love it!
Very creative creatures dude! love it! congrats on top row
thax 4 the alphas man check out what i made

Just when I thought seeing the dragons one by one was great you blew me away with the 55 on one image shot…it’s great to see all of them together and see the variations…your use of masking on dragon 22 is killer…would love to see a video on how you rendered the dragons, love the shot to shot consistency!
Thx Guys!!

Inspiring wrk!!
hey man, awesome work! i have one question. i watched dragon 44’s creation and im curious, what setting did you use on the alpha to make if paint a continuous scale rather than making the alpha reproduce all over it self? it just paints a whole row of tiled scales without overlap… how are you doing this?
thanks!
zbrush noob
oh this makes me want to practice so badly!!
