Man, this is an achievement. A salute to work ethic if there ever was one. Anyway, beautiful work and congratulations on sticking with seeing the project through to the very end.
Inspiring work. I have a need for something like this in a current project. One question… I downloaded the three alpha zips, and have been trying to find a working link to the old download on your site (nice new design BTW). I notice in that interview that you show alphas that you do not provide. Is there a link to get all of them?
It just so happens that the missing ones are the ones I was intrigued about.
Also, is there a way to share that matcap/lightcap?
Thanks and great work.
mehoo_ You should try downloading it again. I placed the old folder back into web’s root directory. I tested it and it works for me.
These are the alphas that I shared , I’m not even sure I could find others that I might have used.
You should try creating couple of your own alphas, it might be tedious at the beginning, but later on it becomes liberating.
The matcap that I used is regular zbrush matcap I think, not sure, I just edited cavity and moved one or two sliders for depth and what not.
Downloading now. Thank you!
I’m getting back into zbrush after pretty much a 5 year break. I really haven’t used it much in feature film VFX work aside from some environment stuff which is just cake. Threads like these help us older zbrushers get back into it. As you said, creating alphas is liberating, but creating a piece of art first to rekindle that creative spark is the first step.
Thanks again.

Absolutely stunning sculpts, way to push yourself to achieve this. I am grateful for you uploading your time-lapse for others to see, if I could subscribe to your channel 56 times I would but my account is only worth the 1. Thank you.
BTW I counted 56 dragons.
