ZSpeed Session: Head Modeling

hell yeah, choppers too. He drinks alot of… lemonade? Or reverse-brushes his teeth?

Well he does eat alot of yellow snow ;)

hey dado!

it’s a very fine head you’ve got there. first of all im sorry that you ran out of time even before you came to finishing your head modeling project. i’m sure you could’ve made more finer tuning in details and tweaking.

and also maybe if you’d stop drinkin and zbrushing at the same time, you’re hands might actually listen to your commands!

anyway, a very fine job here. mo’ forehead work recommanded!:+1: :+1:

                                                               best regards, mysteryX

I think he has eaten a lot of ‘Butter’.

hey ron,

he reminds me of the 2nd winner of the latest poker
tourney - he looked exactly like that…maybe not that yellow. i think his name was cooper

mfg

:o lol…well I added some red hair to him sometime around 4 am this morning…when using the black fog…I have troubles doing the hair…sure there is a simple fix for it I just havent found it yet…o well here o yellow teeth is…guess it’s onto the hands and feet challenge…I am assuming we will have 8 thousand challenges all going at once…lol…will be like the Main Gallery now…:o

Nice face Ron
Although his teeth are very yellow they do add a nice touch not commonly seen since most people tend to do overly white teeth on their models

Ron, when do you sleep? Always Zbrushing til 4am in the morning?
I like to see your ‘FunBrushObjects’! Keep going!

Hi, recently I got a calendar with animal faces deformed in funny way. This is my replica of January model. The message on that page was “Start the year with positive attitude… and an excuse for everything”
It has some wisdom in it, isn’t it?

Doggy ZTimeLapseImagef.jpg

having troubles getting the zlapse script working for me…it’s gotta be me…

Great looking dog model step by step…cheers on your success…

I took about two hours in between working on the script to try to make it work and then giving up and going on to work on the Grandmother image…I include the script…dunno how it will work though…anyways…another entry into the wonderful world of heads…

Bas…I do good to get six hours of sleep split up in a 24 hour period…grrrrr…and my wife’s snoring isn’t helping that at the moment…thank goodness for z…

thnx also for the comments on ole yellow teeth

Maybe you had the same problem as I had with the Ztimelapse script. I extracted the zip file but without subfolders. If you did the same thing, then make the subdirectories structure like this, and save the two files in the last subdirectory:

[![RonHarrisQ.jpg|665x159](upload://saZYw8C8nSOSHQsdmEo4Jegy9qs.jpeg)] and put the zscript file (ZTimeLapse.zsc) in Zplugs directory. Nice aging morph from a heavy smoker, yellow eating, rotten teeth guy to a granny.

Pajonate, thnx for the comments on the 3 different models…(most of my models look the same…lol…its about the only way I make heads…don’t even know how to use the morph tools in z yet…)

the script…

still not working for me…set up exactly like you have shown and restarted z and still nothing…if I load it as a zscript it works…at least comes up but doesnt do anything…hellifino at this point…thnx again
ron

Hey Ron,
Im posting a pic of my folders. Don’t know why yours didn’t create the folders. But I think pajonate is missing files? Anyway, it works great for me. You might need to re-download?

zTimeLapse.jpg

Hey Ron,

if you used winrar to unzip it…It would have put everything in the zplugs folder but in the PUTCONTENTSINZPLUGSFOLDER folder…you need to move the contents from that folder into the zplugs just as they are then delete the PUTCONTENTSINZPLUGSFOLDER folder.

if ya don’t then the plugin can’t find it. cuz it’s looking for it in the zplugs not the contents folder.

about 1 hour, i tried a different technique.second_head.jpg

Made this in , i think, an hour or so…nothing special but i made a mistake with the Zspheres, i must have duplicated the “central” Zsphere because the eyes seem to belong to a “outer” shell, making it look like a helmet …not intentional
but funny…

I’ve seen the headmodeling in the thread you mentioned. I looks good, special the way he made the mouth. I like your head also because it’s not usual to make it like this. It was a good ‘accident’!

He is the all expert of nothing¡¡

Hi all
Well this is my first “ever” model ive done in ZBrush, i only heared of the software (well looked at it at least) 2 days ago (i’m a Maya lover, and only use maya. until now). i downloaded the demo and downloaded a quick UI tutorial (as i’m waiting for the 2 training DVD’s that are in the post) and saw this post. so i thought well why not try it myself!

Well i'm definatly going to purchase ZBrush in the upcoming months now, as it just blew my socks off  and is very well priced IMO.

I havnt taken it into projection master etc yet as , well i dont know how yet LOL. Just know how to sculpt

I didnt make a script sadly as i thought it was going to turn out a complete pile of rubish, but i dont think it turned out too bad. anyway i’m rambling on so i just thought some crit and comp’s wouldnt go a miss  so pls pls let me know what you think ?

Edit : Ohh yeahh sorry forgot to mension it took 2H solid, started at 11:49pm and its 1:45pm now (i tend to get work done faster in the early morrow’s  )
