AS ALWAYS A GREAT ZB HELPER¡¡
CONGRATULATIONS
ANDRESELOY

Thank you, it is always nice to wake up to a present. I’ve been using MOLDY and finding it invaluable and this looks even more so.
I shall give it a whorl.

Thank you Andre.
There are some interesting thing in this script …(i hope)
Try the “Interactive Light” (IL button)
the “Free rotation” of object…
Shortcut:
“1” increase DrawSize
“2” decrease DrawSize
“3” increase Z Intensity
“4” decrease Z Intensity
“P” Positioning light
“Shift+P” Interactive light
“Shift+R” Object rotation
“Ctrl+D” Drop current 3D tool on canvas

I use it when modelling…

Hello cameyo ,
This looks just perfet . I’m still using your original modelling script and it seems that you’ve added those features that will make it complete.

I appricate very much the time you’ve dedicated to producing this for your self and the zb forums. It has helped me personally many times and I always give thanks to your script, on completing a model.
As a very minor tip on using this script , as it does take up quite abit of interface space, I tend to use it like the maya marking menue system…using the H key to hide and show the script when ever I have to use it

My appriciation once again and thanks

Kircho

Edit-------
If I could just voice an idea I’ve head , maybe you could incorporate it into your script some how.

As most know sometimes when your modelling you’ll notice that the effect the size of brush has on the surface is not intuative. Maybe the effect is too large or too small. After much frustration I’ve realised that the object needs to be resized with the giro’s outside of edit mode.
What my idea for a feature is to figure out some relation between the size of the object inside zb and the effect of this on edit size. Once this relation is figured out …the function would need to maybe be called by a button which will resize the object to the perfect edit size…I hope thats clear :))
thanks again

nice script cameyo. i especially like the keyboard shortcuts for brush size and z intensity…speeds workflow up heaps.

thanks alot :+1:

Hi Cameyo I have made some exercise with your ModelStation and is just great and very functional
Thanks again
Andreseloy
ps: your highlight tips really are very helpfull.

Hi Cameyo
Just a suggection
When you press “deformation and mask”, why this new Menu don’t replace the first ?
(and take a return to the first Menu) etc…
As all can be seen under the canvas
Have happy Zscripting!
Pilou

Hi Cameyo,

Wow, this is inspired! The free rotation feature is very sexy. Also, having all of the deformation tools in one place is excellent.

I miss a move button, but that’s just a keypress away (W) anyway.

Perhaps you could add an icon to your next .ZSC update file for those of us who want to insert your script to our ZLauncher.

Well done! A great update to your original.

Sven

Thanks Cameyo for another cool and functional Zscript :+1: :+1:

Why is it most of these ZBScripts don’t get added to the main list on the Pixologic website? I think more should… It would make them much easier to locate and download.

Laz

Thank yuo.
The next version will be synchronized with the ZBrush interface…(ie. pressing Radial button on ZBrush original interface will be reflected on zscript interface)
I will post the source too (as always).

Kircho: i don’t understand your request…different part of model need different ratio (Model dimension/Brush Size).

Frenchy: i think this is more functional…but i can be wrong
Use the ‘H’ key instead, as Kircho mentioned.

Svengali: the free rotation came from a Ken Brilliant idea.
I don’t put the shortcuts already present (Q,W,E,R,T,)…for now.

Thank you.

cameyo

High cameyo,
You’ll have to excuse my ignorance on this matter , always learning something new :)…however as of your comments I’ve realised that resizing a model constantly would be time consuming and maybe if there was a set of two buttons to increase or decrease edit side in increments maybe this would be a time saver.

Putting this side I 'd like to compliment you on the feature you’ve added once again…the spin tool is nice but it always seems to reset the postion of the model instead of rotating it as is…
Something I missed though after working for so long with your original model station :)…is the convenience of having the masking tools and the divide and smooth buttons on the first window , instead of the second window you have to expand in the current version.
I find that I use these function much more frequently then I do the view buttons…top bottom…side…etc…
My suggestion , if thats allright , is to bring back those buttons in to the new interface with the added delete and hide point functions.
And in concern to the view buttons maybe try adding some interesting angles to the 3/4 view buttons which i think are great btw.

Just working with your script today this is what came throught my mind, of course its only my opinion and I’m not expecting anything , just thought I share my experiences.

thanks again

Kircho

hey cameyo. this is cool. it’s all there. just used it on my yoda. my brain kept on wanting the 1 and 3 keys to reduce values for a while but it didn’t take long to get use to it. one thing i missed from using svengali’s moldy alot was the get and store positon and the set axis rotation.these are very helpful when modelling or at least when you are used to them

Hi all,
Kircho: i have found the spin tool works well only if the object rotate on Z axis…the rotation on Y axis (the natural rotation) have some problems (flip problem) caused by Eulero and Quaternion rotation mixing.
Note: if you use the Free rotation you must end it pressing the right mouse button (do not press ESC), in this way your model will be reoriented correctly.
The button to increase and decrease the model are on work (maybe slider with %)
The interface need some reworking for better functionality…i have written the button as they are on ZBrush original interface…the next version will bring some of these ideas.

Tjaden: i’ll write the store and restore position (in the next)
In the final version you will have the source…and you can change all the shortcuts.
But set axys is already on.
Thank you.

cameyo

I really like your Modelstation2 script but I would like to make one request: could you please fix the “Front” view button. It turns my tool upside down instead of right side up. (Once fixed, I can throw away a small script I have that properly rotates my tools)

New version on first page…

cameyo

LD: On Monday i’ll try to solve your problem…

Hi all,
this is my last script on this forum… i never post another free script here…
Thank you all for help.

cameyo

p.s. …the first days…kurisu, cneo, …
…lurking and grab is the new style…
i don’t like it

Hi Cameyo
What is the matter ?
Someone have pillage yours scripts?
Bad news for us :frowning:
I don’t kow what to say!
Keep courage and have happy coding!
Pilou

Thank you Pilou.
But i don’t like the new habitat of this forum…
The “helping people” leave the scene for competitors…Lurking and Grab is the new order. Bad people.
More, the Pixologic team is a bit hide…maybe the new version don’t allow to post some infos…
But there another big drawback:
i have a lot of questions without answer…
I have asked to be beta-tester…I don’t have any answer from Matthew… “NO, thank you, we have all beta-tester needed” is a good response, but they never send to me and i never read it…

Maybe in future we’ll meet again…who knows?

cameyo

p.s. how many users have learned from Zexperts without say “Thank” ?
