Hi Cameyo
Maybe it’s because the forum is now some big.
It’s that I have said, with more 10 000 members a forum can’t keep the same ambiance than the start.
But you right that’s not excuse the no thanks!
For the relation with the Pixologic Team, I can’t say anything , beeing entierely out side of them.
I can’t judge as don’t knowing your previous relation with Matthew.
Hope this help!
Pilou
Hi Cameyo I just want to say that I admire your work and your contribution to the forum. I also have been beneficiary of your script like zplace or modelstation¡¡
Please, dont leave the forum, dont let that few people that do not recognize your great contribution prevents that mayority of this forum like me and other benefits from your art or your tutorial or your script. I think beside some consideration you made and I respect a lot from you, the more important is we need you here.
This was made with your great model station
Please, take 24 hours and then…take your best decision,
Best Regard
Andreseloy
Hi Cameyo,
I understand your sentiments, and I feel the same way. The magic is gone.
I thank you for all the wonderful work you have produced over the years, your comments and support. It has been a pleasure.
I will no longer post after I finish my revamp post. No more freebies from me. Not that any one should be bothered…
I note a post with favouritism embedded within it on this forum…the post is nothing special, and basically not even Zbrush…poor judgement from the moderators. That finished me for good. Such a shame.
As soon as I finish my studies I shall be opening a website that will have invited or interested members where art, information, technique will be shared between members for the betterment of all.
Paul

Thank you for fixing that Front rotation (in your Model station) today. I look forward to the update.
Please don’t give up on ZBrushCentral. You are a great asset to the forum and you make great scripts.
It’s a shame (if I understand correctly that your scripts have been stolen) that a few unscrupulous people or bad experiences can ruin it for the rest of us.-You will be missed.
A thought: If someone is stealing your script code, why don’t you only post the converted .zsc scripts that hide the code? Or even put a “Created by…” right in the script or in the pict that displays your script when run? This way no one could pass off one of your scripts as theirs.
As for not saying thank you, In the past I have thought that people would think I was wasting forum space with a bunch of thank you’s. I figured that they know I am appreciative for any help rendered. I am now going to be sure to thank everyone that helps me.
I think we all have had times when we haven’t gotten replies to our emails. Matthew is usually pretty good at replying to mine, but occasionally he doesn’t. I figure he (or anyone else) is so busy that though they intend to reply, they forget to.
You say the experts are leaving ZBrush. Well to me (a novice) you are an expert. If you leave, that means that there is one less expert to answer novices’ questions. How are the new ones to learn if all the experts leave?
Why not go commercial? I havent actually used your script yet, but if it was something I really needed I would pay for it! That surely would be a good type of thank you to receive! People buy plugins for photoshop, why not scripts for ZBrush? Of course you would need a way to demo it first, but a clever person like you would soon have a succesfull business!
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Roy.
I’m sorry to see you go Cameyo. I understand your reasoning though, and I hope I’m not part of the problem. I’ve never used your scripts, mainly because I’m still learning Zbrush as it is, and to learn more scripts is just too much for me right now. I’m thankful for your sharing to the community, and I am sure a lot of other people are thankful too.
As an aside, I’ve noticed lately that there is a rift between those who use Zbrush exclusively, and those who use Zbrush partially in their work. I personally don’t have a problem with this, but it seems that a lot of people here do.
I guess I’m one of the culprits of bringing other software into this forum. I apologize to anyone if that wasn’t suppose to happen. I didn’t know that was the case, and if I would have known, I wouldn’t have posted any of my artwork here. This is probably the only community I’ve seen that really doesn’t appreciate art for art’s sake. Sure this is a Zbrush forum, and sure it should focus around Zbrush. But to give folks, especially new folks who are just getting the hang of Zbrush, the cold shoulder and say that their art is not really suppose to be here, is wrong, in my opinion. I’ve never seen any rule here that says you can’t use other software along with Zbrush to publish work here. If I’m wrong, someone point me to were this is at, because it’s not posted clearly.
All I can say is for folks to get ready for this forum to change. Once the new Zbrush comes out, there will be a lot more people here using Zbrush with other programs, and a lot more work being posted by them. Maybe Pixologic can redesign the forums for specific users, that way no one gets upset or confused about it. But that’s just my suggestion, so who knows what will happen.
All I can say myself is I am neglect-ant to post any more work here myself. I’ve already got the vibe that I’m not particularly welcome here, but that’s okay. My only reason for getting into this community was because the new Zbrush was supposed to have come out soon, but that didn’t happen. So I posted what I could do with what I had. Sometimes I wish I would have just stuck with the demo.
Hi Wchalmet,
Dont go away! it has been interesting following the progress of your witch king, you are quite right about other applications being used more with ZB. In my opinion as long as software used is credited, and that ZB is key in the creation process, it belongs here!
Roy
hello ,
will not try to question your reasons , I just wanted to ask you to continue posting your zb art here.I have enjoyed and learnt from it and I am thankfull for having the privilage to see it as it has furthered my whil to become better the I was.
As to your script. I just like to say I gave it a work out and a half over the 17 and 18th when i was completing my sea monster. The new imporovments are totally awsome.Averything is now more compact and grouped which made it alot easier to work with. I also love the additions of the smooth controller as a slider not just a button(top notch!!!)…the ability to save the position of the models…even the increase decrease size buttons that I asked for
, its very clear by this update, that you’ve put a hell of alot of work into this script. And what I appricate most is that its stable. With 200k polies no crashes or even hint of them.I even tested it with 800K…runs like a dream!!
And lastly…heheh…I could go on if you want me to comeyo :), its great that you have released the source, based on what is there I think its a whole library of tricks and hints that will allow us to create any custom script we wish!!!
Just superb comeyo…its a plasure to use it.
I can see how with so much work and so little response in return you are starting to question who and with what intentions are the people here, roaming the baords.
I think this is the real question here rather then who uses what!
Thanks so much comeyo if you decide to leave us just want to send my appricatations once again.
Kircho
come on, cameyo!

Don’t let the bastards grind you down.
Effective, yet simple.

Sleep on it my friend, this place is always changing and it does no good to try to give the flow of it personality or mold it to your own corner of perception of it. Everyone’s idea of it is different.
As for people stealing your code; When you release it as a text file then you are giving people rights to use it, I have noticed snippets of my own code in some of your scripts. I would like people to use it for whatever creative use or learning they can get from it and perhaps make it better. As for people making scripts perhaps of the same function, well most of scripts I see are just using code to poke the Zbrush interface, they just present them in a different organized way. Some people will use your scripts, some people will use the other scripts just a matter of personal perference or which one they learned first. Hell, if just one person used a script I wrote then I would feel it was worth it.
anyhoo, please don’t hang it up ole buddy.
Cameyo, I am very saddened. I have a special folder with your name for all the wonderful scripts inside zbrush. I have them linked and all. Please say you won’t stop! They have been sooo great! I am always overwhelmed by your efforts and dedication to help all on the forum and me especially cause I need it the most! And at any rate, please say you will at least post your art? Pretty Please???
wenna
I have invested a lot of time in writing this script…I am not looking for “replies”, instead i’m looking to improve my know-out, my and your work, and, finally, Zbrush itself.
Only few people can understand the work behind this and other scripts.
Everyone can grab my code, but who cares ZBrush should pay more attention…
I think who uses extensively a free zscript should (or “must”) say thank to the creator…a PM is one of the best for me.
LD: Thank you (The Front button sometimes don’t work well…sorry.)
Andreseloy: you are a very good (new?!?!) user (nice model)
ED: you understand well my feeling…the magic is gone…
Brill: good idea…but not now: few users, zscript is not very stable and complete. Maybe with a true SDK…Thank you anyway.
wchamlet: no problem for me. Post what you want with any application (plus Z :))
Kircho: you must write my name more times to find the right spelling :). I am honorated you build your models with my script.
Juandel: nice words from you (as always)
8BIT BOY: bastards never dies…
Digit: you right!!! I write the name of all the people who helps the development of my zscript.
I never (intentionally) stolen code without say thank to the author.
The “zplace” script was born from your old “object manipulation” routine…but i have already told this in another post.
I don’t like to see my script (with the same interface and functionality) on other web without my name…or, worst, with another name.
I respect you and your wonderful scripts: thank you for share your works.
wenna: wow!! my name in your HD. I’ll post (without source)
I follow a simple rule when develop script: “Keep it simple”.
I like the finished things…and then i post here another release.
Interface:
Download:ModelStation.zip
I’ll post only ZSC: who wants the source must write a PM to me (or crack the ZSC format).
News:
0) some minor bugs removed (some added :))
- Zadd, Zsub switch
- M, Mrgb,rgb switch
- Fill object button
- Polyframe Color button (thank to Svengali)
- RGB Intensity sliders and buttons with Lock
- Interactive Smoothing
- Hints and help (i hope the next time…)
I think there’ll be at least another version after this (Help, protect statement, polish code,…).
With this script i model more fast and easy…i hope will be the same for you.
Please, post any errors you’ll find.
Anyway, this will be my last free (with source) script. Sorry.
Thanks again to the master of zscript (i have learned a lot from their code):
Pixolator, Davey, Kurisu, Digit, Bruce Gregory, Muvlo, WingedOne, Jay, MTB, Matthew (Aurick), EZ, Ken Brilliant, Ed_the_atom, Southern, froyd, Svengali, Gary Komar, BigMike…and all the others i don’t remember…
Bonus:
A script with an old tip from ZAcademy days…
Download:

Cameyo,
I, like everyone else here, would like to encourage you to stay with the forum and continue to contribute. You’ve done some great stuff and you have an international audience who do appreciate you and your fine work.
I don’t know what the politics are here but it would be a shame to lose your talent. There are quite a few of us that can use all the help we can get.
Keep the faith.
Brian.
Yes—Please stay !
Wow, this script is awesome!
Judging from this thread, I guess I missed the good ole days since I’m new here. It will be a shame to see someone with your talents disappear. To be honest, I haven’t posted yet because I haven’t really produced anything to show–and all my questions were answered by the brilliantly layed out quicklinks.
Cameyo, you have my thanks and a vote to stick around.
Hi Mitch
Welcome aboard!
And don’t miss his masterpiece coding the ‘Zplace script’ : you fond reference here and some examples in my signature
Have happy Zbrushing!
Pilou
Neat! Thanks, Frenchy.
Thank to all!!!
Maybe i need only these warm words from friends…
cameyo
p.s. there are some bug when model OBJ…see you later.
I must protect some statements to not update the item interface when you have an OBJECT (not ZTL).
Tomorrow the new version…sorry for any inconvenience (Thank you,Kircho)
