Zeeble or Greeble that is here the Question!

Hey lemo I lost track of this thread…

Still figuring out what to learn and look at… ;(

That is all I wanted to know
Cheers

Just wanted to share this abandoned project (one of many unfortunately), which was inspired by this cool thread.

Have you found a new website to host your tutorial Lemo? becuase i would dearly love to redownload it and have a go at making some Zeeble/Greebles hint hint hint

begging

Unfortunately I cannot edit the main post but here it is again as .mov for any platform:

It’s 25MB and if you right click and ‘save target’ then you can download it.

Wasco,

I love that :+1: Good to see the zeeble thread still alive.

Thanks Blaine91555:)

Using the zbrush texture Txtr13 I used
Redfield 's
Craquelure 3D plugin

http://www.redfieldplugins.com/crq.htm

I transformed it to this pattern

Hello. my question is: Why is it that when I use double sided in projection master I get wierd gray marks on the areas I didnt paint?

Post such questions in troubleshooting forum

See when you eneter PM shading and fade option isnt selected.

We mostly use doublesided with deformation and not with texturing, if you have to use it, then see that your model is upright at right angles by pressing shift.

best avoid it all togther.

If you still have problems, show a screenshot in trouble shooting forums.

Here is my first one…lots of ideas came to me after watching this great tutorial…

This will allow me to focus my creativity in a completey different manner!

Sphere, maze, zeeble + wires, duplicated, scaled, rotate, gelato, ray traced…

maze-wires1.JPG

Nice, real nice! Zbrush maxed out 8).
I downloaded Gelato a while ago but did not find any User Interface for it…
Sounds stupid but is there a manual I should have read Bill? Haven’t seen one.
Lemo

There are interfaces as plugins for Maya and Max.

If you don’t have either of those, but you have a decent RIB interface you can use it via. the renderman generator (importer). I also wrote a simple .obj generator, but using it that way requires a lot of spit, wire and duct tape.

I just noticed how bad the aliasing is on that image. I scaled it in the gimp, which isn’t the best. The real render doesn’t have that problem as Gelato produces very nice renders.

That’s two of the same wire-mazes. One inside of the other. Each one is about 130,000 faces. The scene is ray traced with three lights. Basic Gelato (not multi-threaded) renders it on my 4 year old PC with a GeForce 5200 in about 2 minutes. Pretty quick if you think about it.

Hey Lemo maybe am at the wrong threat or I dont know if you have updated this cool addon can you update it for zbrush 3??please?

Nothing to upload… just go and follow the instructions. Works well with any ZBrush version. In the end it’s all about displacement.
