ZBrush v1.5 to be unveiled in July! (polyframe image added: July 4)

We’re about to announce a new chapter in the development of everyone’s favorite software:

ZBrush v1.5 will be unveiled at Macworld Expo (New York), and at Siggraph (San Antonio, Texas) in July.

ZBrush v1.5 will offer significant enhancements in nearly every facet and feature. You can expect new tools and more powerful functionality, plus a streamlined interface that’s even more customizable.

Because of these new enhancements, the introductory price will increase to $399 after its unveiling. ZBrush v1.23b will no longer be sold; however, current registered users will receive v1.5 as a free upgrade.

Therefore, if you haven’t yet purchased ZBrush, now is the time to buy and receive free upgrade to v1.5. You’ll save more than $100, and enjoy some of the most powerful, innovative features available in any digital art program.

You can purchase ZBrush v1.23b online at Pixologic’s website, and download it immediately.

In upcoming weeks we’ll share more details about ZBrush’s developments. And, as always, you’ll read about it here first.

Thanks for the info! :+1:

Some new things I noticed on the interface seemed interesting. I notice that the render pallette now has a load and save feature. I guess to use rendering settings you like in another document.

I noticed a lot of new things in the stroke pallette, for example, scale, placement and color sliders, plus a button labelled “directional”. I also noted the addition of RTime on top of the ZBrush screen which I guess means “Render Time”. Interesting hints of whats in store for us.

woah! Looks fantastic! Can’t wait… well I can but it’s hard! LOL

Thanks for the update on the status of the new version. I personally look forward to playing with it as it has brought a significant amount of joy to me at this stage of my life.
I wish you every success on the promotion of this version and may Pixologic grow from strength to strength.

Will there be an updated demo version as well?
