Just another WIP…Lots to fix, but being a bit more methodical with this one.
Been a while since I have had an update. Still not sure where I am going with it. It is for fun after all. The ‘fur’ was an experiment, came out pretty good in zbrush. Will finish it, some day:D A lot of the smaller details haven’t been tweaked…as it is in a purpetual state of unfinishedness.
Love the rat. Really nice work.
Ghostman- Thanks! I didn’t mean to post such a huge file. I’ve already made some changes and should be posting them soon. So much I want to do and never enough time!
Another small update. I’ll give it a break for a bit…don’t want to seem to be hogging the thumbnails:D
I need some advice. I want to pose this guy but I do not have the skills for applications that allow for bones and whatnot. Transpose master seems to distort things too much. Am I doing something wrong or is there an easier way to do this in zbrush? Sorry if my question is a bit vague. Any help appreciated.
Are you trying to pose it at the highest sub div level? If yes then I would suggest you lower the sub div level to about the first or second level and then try and pose it that way.
Thanks for that tip. Seems a bit less messed up. Still have to tweak things a bit. Will experiment with it and see what I come up with!
very nice work
Thanks…perpetually never finishing anything:D
the trick with posing out using transpose master is making a good soft mask across the joint you are bending at and to make sure your transpose line is sitting exactly where the actual joint would sit. If your topology is solid you shouldn’t get too much stretching, bulging or flattening out where it shouldn’t be.
