Hey Mr.Braun! In response to your question the answers is…depends entirely on my “vision” but for basic “skin-like” qualities I usually use BasicMaterial 1 or BasicMaterial 2. I then add noise and a negative bump height; adjust specularity and diffuse values as well as the curves, adjust ambiance and play around with the gel shading. Sometimes I will use a color diffuse as well. A lot of my texture work comes after I have dropped the object to the canvas. I paint in the cracks, skin pocks, etc with a large variety of alpha brushes I have created.

So I wanted to make something different for this round. I guess the flower trend we have seen these days on the forum has something to do with my choice.
Anyway, the funny part was I didn’t modify the tool geometry at all.

ahhh good to see my game is proving a great success. I just knew it would. I wish I had the time to do some entries. I’m a bit snowed down with work at present. But hopefully in the next day or two i’ll find some time.
