I’m not sure I understand this… Are we supposed to further model the z-tool a bit or just paint it?
You can do which ever you like 
But the main idea is someone supplies a “Starter ZTool”
Other people then modify it; and make it into what “they” see. A bit like that old sketching game. Where you would draw a series of lines and shapes; and the other person would then have to make it into something. It just gets the brain going; and it’s a great way to share techniques and see what other people come up with Feel free to just paint it; or further model it It’s entirely your choice. Have fun!

Alright…here’s my entry for the second game…can’t figure out why I have goblins and such on the brain right now…probably because I’ve been playing Dungeon Siege since Friday!
I’m not playing anymore if Mentat7 continues to make his amazing pics! That’s not fair! And he’s teasing me cause he’s got Dungeon Siege!!! It’s not yet released in Europe, not fair either! 
I’m kidding, off course. I’ll submit something for this 2nd game soon. 
And a great goblin, Mentat7. 
I agree with Codexus…it’s like when you were little and your Mom made you play checkers with your older brother…he always beat you, when he should have let you win once in awhile. Mentat, I’m gonna tell Mom!

LOL! And here I was thinking I would take a short cut and handicap myself in the process by NOT using TextureMaster! Didn’t use it once for these as this was just playtime. Hmmm…ok how bout this? I’ll give myself another handicap and just use ONE hand to draw with

“Mental?” I think that might be suitable. Mentat, if you use only one hand (which I assume you only use one already), then you must use your opposite hand. And did you say you were going to give us a tool and tell us what we can do with it?
so heres the situation, i run dual monitors on my work station and i put mentals pic up on the one while i worked on the other, not to copy but to be more inspired. the next thing i know i came up with this little guy. 99% zbrush, 1% photoshop for a few little touchups. i really like this game and i cant wait till mental posts a tool.
i think im going to set this one out because im having trouble finding the time… however its a good thread and i will cont…to enter…

OK…here goes…the next tool…and the name’s Mentat7 not MENTAL! (although I have been accused of being mental from time to time but my doctors say I’m better now) I kept with the “head” theme but maybe we should divert from that in the next round. Anyway it is a head with a little different flavor. Get wild and remember you can do whatever you want to it! Have fun.

ARGH Im so pissed right now!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: I was almost done making a submission for game 2 and then zbrush crashed!!! Oh well Im not gonna redo all that work… I guess I’ll just start on one for game 3… But it was so good…

Well for my Game 3 submission, I decided to try to do it from a completely unusual angle… It didn’t come out as well as I hoped, but whatever.
