Ooh, don’t say anything bad, you’ll get moaned at like I did.

Now over four days and counting for ZBrush Keyshot and bridge. How much slack do I need to cut them again?

Some of us have a wee bit of a guilty conscience, for bugging Pixo about releasing ZB4R7. :wink:

And I am glad they went ahead and released that in January.

I guess that was a lot of traffic tho…everybody downloading the upgrade and then trying to nab KS, also.

Some people are getting their situations sorted out, so maybe today…maybe today…

@MetaFirefly…I like painting those polygroups w/ZModeler. :slight_smile: That is so convenient.

So hooked on ZModeler that it actually took me awhile to check out nano and array.
This stuff is amazing.

Bought the full Keyshot + Bridge bundle today :wink:

To much to try and do!!!
I will expect a lot of top row stuff from many in here during the following weeks :smiley:

Well Jan, the good news is that seeing how you have the ZBrush to Keyshot Bridge, you can download the Keyshot for ZBrush now from here…

I got a link to Keyshot, along with special bonus content for the ZB edition, on the day I bought the bridge.

Downloaded Keyshot and the bonus stuff. It’s all installed – but the Bridge won’t activate. The ZB license is installed, too (the zlic file) to further complicate matters. Plus my serial # does not match the input box pattern for Keyshot. (5 boxes)

Thank you very much for the tip, but at this point – I need help with a capital H. :lol:

I don’t really mind any more. I was hoping to use it the day I bought it and do a blog post this week - now that chance has gone it can turn up any time. I bear no ill will against Pixologic - this stuff happens from time to time - it’s just been disappointing.

Jan19, go back and check your email again. There should be 2 serial numbers. The first one is for the Plugin, but if you scroll down a little, there should be a second one for Luxion Keyshot.

Jan, like Cad64 said. But bear in mind the Keyshot content package linked to in the Pixo email doesn’t contain the Keyshot 5, which is a separate download to the content package likned to.
The Pixo email (at least the one I got) has a link to the Keyshot content and Bridge, which is what the .lic file is for. Keyshot 5 for ZBrush is a separate download (I grabbed mine from the link I already posted) to the content, and that’s what the second serial number in the Pixo email is for (first serial being for 4r7 itself).
When you install Keyshot for ZBrush, it will ask for the serial number we got in the email. Then it will ask you to register and that’s it.

Ok so I was waiting for an email since purchasing Keyshot and the Bridge on Friday. I’d only received the receipt of purchase so put in a ticket with support on the same day. Waited until today (and getting impatient) and then only logged in to see the status of the ticket out of curiosity. SOOO… All the while, the links had been uploaded there in the ticket and been sitting there… since Saturday! So downloaded and now all running smoothly :smiley:

If anyone is still waiting for an email, check your support tickets. I never did get an email.

Special content is when you purchase the bridge or Keyshot for Zbrush? I don’t remember having a special content and I have Keyshot for Zbrush, so maybe it comes with the bridge, isn’t it?

I got everything I needed in one single email, including the links to download Keyshot and the special content. Maybe they have added more information and links to the emails they are sending out now?

I am one of those who just purchased a part of the bundle, so I just had a link to download Keyshot and a serial number, and how to install both. No more things so I hope I’ll have the missing things when my purchase will be fixed.

Still waiting for my support ticket reply.

No, I don’t have that second serial #, Cad. Just the first. :slight_smile:

Dill, I’m just waiting for Support – at this point they’ll have to help me activate the Bridge anyhow. The license file I installed is not valid or somehow I’m not making connection. That doesn’t make sense because I activated ZB 4R7 just fine. :slight_smile:

I’ll just wait for Support.

Also, read through the questions and troubleshooting sticky thread carefully. I’m pretty sure mention has been made of how to change the file extension on the license file to get it to work for people having that problem.

Pixologic, can we get some help for this person? They’ve been here since the launch, haven’t had any luck at all, and have remained in good spirits on the board.

Just bought the bridge plugin, if you would all stop downloading stuff from pixologic , that’d be great ;p

Getting really slow download speeds for the zbrush to keyshot content pack.

I’m not really sure that i’ll use it a lot, cause i lack free time, but I figured after so many years, I owed pixologic some money for all the free upgrades ;p

(and I mean it, cause I bought a house 2 months ago , so it’s not like i got money to spare ;p)

It’s ok though…I am certainly not the only one waiting. And I’m just a hobbyist. There may be those who need KS more than me, for professional stuff.

I’m just a conscience stricken, impatient person, though. :wink: I was one of those who hollered for Pixo to release ZB4r7, they did – so now I oughta keep my trap shut and wait till all is sorted out.

Sorry…had to cut those last posts short because the dog was hungry.

This is why I don’t feel so good. And it’s the truth, I swear, although you all will wonder how anyone could be so ignorant.

Ignorant means stupid, where I live.

So ZB4R7 is released, and the second night I go on a marathon ZB session. Like, for hours. Next day, my pen finger (for the tablet) is sore. I pay no attention and sculpt some more. Next day, the end of my finger is as red as a beet.

So for two days, I’ve been soaking my finger in a concoction I found the recipe for, on the Internet. It must’ve helped because the doggone thing has quit hurting and isn’t very red anymore. :o

So maybe tomorrow I can go back to sculpting again, and I’ll be in a better mood. :smiley:
