ZBrush 4.0 Activation and Registration Troubleshooting

Cracked my first beer, clicked the activate by web for the first time today and it all worked perfectly!! Perfect start to the weekend :smiley:

Cool! Congrats. I’m still in ā€œmail mismatchā€ hell. Tried updating my support profile to the new Cleverbridge ref number and new serial number. Still no luck… :confused:

I think I snuck in because of the time difference between Australia and the rest of the world. Keep at it poda!!! Maybe you just need to crack a beer! Might be the secret registration ingredient :lol:

Nah, I tried it yesterday, had a few and, yet, no e-mail… But at least I had the beers :slight_smile:

Sorry to hear that Pedro, and to add to your misery. I had a glass of wine and soon after, discovered an email notifying me that my problem had been rectified and that I could now activate my copy. It took 2 tries but I am now happily among the activated.
I wish you speedy inclusion into our fold.

Wine… hum… Man, if I keep this pace I’ll be completely drunk before I get this e-mail :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe try something stronger like whisky???
Maybe the stronger the drink the quicker the regsitration

My update e-mail arrived on Tuesday. Cleverbridge held up the serial number until Wednesday. I tried the Web Activation for hours on end Wednesday and Thursday with no luck. Tried the e-mail Activation Thursday evening. 36 hours later, still no word. Phone Activation is closed until further notice. Just sent off a trouble ticket referencing the e-mail Activation ticket. After that, I’m at a loss as to what else to try.

Amazing! The Web Activation finally went through. [Apparently took some intervention behind the scenes at Pixologic. Thank you!]

The sensible thing would have been for them to send an e-mail to everyone who is registered with information about what’s going to happen. That way, everyone who gets this preamble e-mail will know they will eventually get the upgrade e-mail.

I am in the same boat as you… waiting and wondering if something is wrong. Very frustrating, especially as the ā€˜deadline’ was put further back.

So if I don’t receive the mail today, I should send a support ticket to the helpdesk?

i think that“s the problem about pixologics procedure: nobody knows if he/she just didn“t receive the mail yet or if things simply got messed up.
thatĀ“s why i think thereĀ“s a good chance that some of us wonĀ“t have zbrush4 running for some days to come…

If I don’t get it by 9am GMT tomorrow morning (which will be 1am LA time), I am going to send a support ticket. I think we’ve been pretty patient.

I bought 3.5 a few weeks ago with the promise of a free update to 4. I should have waited a few more days:rolleyes:

Anyone having trouble playing the new features videos?They get stuck on buffering for some reason.

doesnt matter, but yes i already got it. last year i had to wait like you…in the end, its a free upgrade.
before i have to pay 300 bucks for an update im willing to wait some days. but on the other hand, the upgrade system feels a bit clunky…
