To all those that made it through, did you type in ALL CAPS or not??
Iād be happy if I were having activation problems because that would mean I was one step closer.
As it stands now, I havenāt heard a peep.
If you mean the serial number, then yes, I typed in all caps as that was how the serial number was shown. I really doubt it matters, but I work in publishing and those are the sorts of things we get uptight about Best would be to use copy-paste.
For anyone still waiting, I donāt know if it made any difference at all, but before hitting any of the links, I made sure that the main Pixologic sight was up and running as it sounds like some of the problems are caused by communication issues between the Cleverbridge and Pixologic servers. It took me three tries to activate, but then Iām in a relatively quiet time zone so if you have the patience, waiting till a quiter time might help.
Good luck - itās well worth the wait
Having what problem?
The problem with the registration not being accepted. Keep getting an error message that the email is wrong. Is that a universal problem having nothing to do with platform? I assume so, but just thought I would ask. Getting a bit frustrated here.
Endlessly trying,

Did you open a ticket for that issue?
⦠oh well
People with activation/registration problems should go HERE.
This thread is not a good place to get help for them, as support is not answering these issues in this thread.
I am getting the same for several hours and I also sent a support ticket in however it is not showing up in my submitted tickets.
It is my understanding their support system is going down frequently right now. They have been laboring to fix it.
Again, though, people with activation/registration problems should go HERE. Support is not giving out any answers in this thread, and most people that have their programs have left this thread to use them.
Donāt know about that - all I know is that I have submitted 2 support tickets (each one different) and they do not show up in my account.
Thank you!
From Aurick in the Activation and Registration Troubleshooting Forum, where people with these problems should be going, as they wont get the proper attention in this thread:
now I am getting this
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Canāt create UNIX socket (12) in /home/regadmin/public_html/activation/functions.php on line 15
Unable to connect to database server: Canāt create UNIX socket (12)
Calm down about the problem with the activation. It is just a conjestion problem. Just keep repeating the process until it works. It took me about 15 times before it got thru. But it did get thru. Can you imagine how congested it would have been if they had release to us all at the same time? LOL
and he also says
Direct and Private Support forum. Include your serial number and email address so that we can double check things on our servers.
which I have done - been there for several hours and not even a reply
Yes, you may wait a while until you get your issue resolved there, as the finite support staff deal with the heavy load from other people besides yourself having issues, work on fixing the problems, and occasionally take time out to eat and sleep.
But the point is, you definitely wont get any attention to your issue here.
At least by browsing the proper forum, you may find other people with an issue similar to yours, and see what has been said about that issue so far.
Most problems have to do with the heavy load, and many of them can be solved by simply continuing to try. The ones that canāt be solved simply with repeated effort, may take a few days to get around to resolving, as Support is hampered right now both by high volume, and a support system that is buckling a little. I know it wont make you happy right now, but the only answer in that case is patience.
It could be worse, I mean you could still be waiting for the initial email like a lot of us.
If at first your activation doesnāt succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try again.
Itās getting a bit trying, actually.
