ZBrush 4.0 Activation and Registration Troubleshooting

We made some major upgrades to the server that handles the activation system for the Trial. However, the result of that was that older copies of the Trial can no longer find it.

Please uninstall the Trial, then download and install again. The new installation will point to the correct location.

If you still have the confirmation email that you got after registering for the Trial, you can click the link in it to return to the download page. If you don’t have that email anymore, re-register using the same email address and Pixologic ID. The system will see that it’s the same info and redirect you to the download location.

I uninstalled the ZBrush 4 trial, reinstalled, got it working once, and later had to reboot the machine and now I’ve been trying to get the trial to connect to the servers for the first hour of my day. So far the trial is not so good. :cry:

Please submit a Support ticket at http://support.pixologic.com and explain exactly what happened, including when you downloaded the Trial. We might have to refer this to our webmaster. Thanks!

Windows 7 installed and I can not activate over the web, does not give the serial number entered everything correctly, before it has already been activated on Windows xp.

You didn’t give much info to go on here, so I’m having to guess. But when you were turning on “Run as Administrator”, did you also turn on Compatibility Mode for an earlier version of Windows? That MUST NOT be done.

If that’s not the issue, please submit a Support ticket at http://support.pixologic.com and be sure to describe what is happening including any error message you receive.

Hi,

I’ve recieved my Zbrush 4R2 activation email but when I click the link and I’m taken to the cleverbridge site, it times out to “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”. Tried many times on my pc and laptop but no joy.

It was working at one point and the download got to 95% and has been stuck at that point for the last 10hours.

Any ideas what the problem is?

I got some emails from pixologic with numbers and passwords but cannot find the download link in there. When logged in the support-center I can only find a “starting tool” but there is nowhere the upgrade download button.

The last email I got says this:
This message is regarding your Ticket ID #XEO-6…0. We are changing the status of this ticket to ‘Closed’ as we have not received a response from you in 168 hours.

I have answered 15 hours later. But nothing changed. Where can I download the upgrade now?

I cannot get to the support link sent to view my status on getting zbrush4r2 re activated.Used 3 browesers to test it out but getting a message saying zbrush is not a trusted site and it locks me out due to a certificate? I have a ticket number but will only post it after instructions from yourself if I should do so (Im not sure if it is used as just a ref number or holds more info than I should post) So at the moment I have no zbrush4 r2 after a few days and no way to check my progress on the ticket please help.

p.s I did a screen grab of the error I get attached.

This has been resolved. Our servers were undergoing upgrades at the time you happened to need it. If you try again now you will not receive this error.

I have a problem with my activation of zBrush 4R2. i activated it succesfully via web activation but everytime i close the application and restart zbrush 4r2 it shows “License is not activated”. if i choose webactivation again it says “license already activated on this machine”. then if i request a copy i can activate it again. but same thing again, everytime i close it.

another issue (maybe a hint): my lightbox starts empty ?!

Im working on OSX 10.5.8 and I have full
read/write permission on the ZBrushOSX4R2 folder as well as the shared/pixologic folder

can someone help me with this please?

Make sure Everyone has Read & Write permission for the ZBrush OSX 4R2 folder AND enclosed items. If it’s just the folder or just some of the folders within it this will happen.

Hello-

I was finally getting around to downloading/installing the ZBrush 4R2 upgrade when I noticed the download link is only good for 14 days. (D’oh!!) I tried replying to the email from Pixologic ([email protected]) but keep getting a “Mail Delivery Failure”.

How can I get a new download link?

Please submit a ticket at https://support.pixologic.com. Be sure to include your Cleverbridge reference number as well so that we can easily locate your account to send you a new link.

my admin fixed it, everything works fine now. :slight_smile:

Trying to organise licence transfer and activation for a buyer of my licence [Sadly I have to sell my licence]. Was told no problem by Will in support a few weeks ago. Posted support ticket nearly a week ago, as soon as I had the buyer, and unfortunately no response. Are support off line? My time zone is GMT. Can you help, or can you PM me? Buyer is getting anxious and is getting close to cancelling transaction. I haven’t even been sent payment authorization form to fill out yet

What is the ticket ID number? I’ll be able to look it up. Odds are that it was replied to but for some reason you didn’t receive the email.

Thanks for getting back. Will contacted me and so did Irma from registration support so things are getting sorted. Someday in future I would like to return to Zbrush, but for now the extra cash will have to go towards my current priority which is hardware related. At least I still have Sculptris for the moment. Thanks for your support. I still have learnt alot/had alot of fun with Zbrush during the times I’ve used it. Sadly I can’t hold onto it for now. Times are tight - at the moment I’m counting every cent!
