No worries. A reboot seems to have corrected whatever confusion my PC was going through. I had this happen once before so I thought to give the reboot a try. Gotta love Vista. I need to upgrade to Windows7.
So I think you’ll be okay. 
I installed and after activation, this is the first error message I’ve received.
I closed zbrush, and reopen it again, and I dont see the error message any more. Should I worry?

Followed the instructions to use the original email containing the serial number to access the download. Opened up the download window with a message that “the link is no longer valid”. WHAT?!:eek:

you have to wait like many other ppl for the email from cleverbridge including the link.
If your download link from Cleverbridge has expired, you will need to wait for them to send you a new link. Due to server capacity, they cannot send these links to everyone simultaneously. It may take a few days to get all the links sent out. Please do not contact Support to request that your download link be renewed.
Your link would have to be fairly recent to have not expired, I think. You’ll have to wait for the new batch of emails from Cleverbridge over the next few days.

like the post office. I know it is important to protect your intellectual property.
Microsoft can update there I dont like know 150 million user base in 1 sec. Nobody
sane freaks with there intellectual property. You may have tops 25000 accounts there
is no excuse for this.

Yes, because Microsoft and Pixologic are remotely the same size. Yeah, this is a valid comparison.
It just comes down to server capacity and bandwidth.(and by the way, Microsoft’s update infrastructure has buckled when they’ve had high demand releases too). Larger server infrastructure/bandwidth would cost more money, and youre getting this update for free.
all email programs send out in batches…they have to throttle out the send rates…if they don’t they’ll get black listed by yahoo, gmail, hotmail etc…
