Interesting to note that Mudbox for Mac came out today. At least I noticed that it was posted today on MacUpdate.

They anounced it on friday. That means that, if they aren´t capable to be on time looking 3 days in the future… maybe we´ll must a Delorean to get our Zbrush 4

Hey guys I just thought I’d pop in and say that this is par for the course with Pixo, they’re a small company delivering a big and popular product to a lot of folks. There may be some last minute delays.
It’s hard, but hang in there.
We’ve all gone through this. 
Exactly. So why not just say ‘Tuesday’ instead of Monday?
This is typical of Pixo. Don’t hold your breath, people.
I doubt if there’s ‘last minute delays’, Jay. Just as you say, it’s par for the course. They’ll do it when they’re bloody good and ready - but it’ll be LATE tonight, if at all.
They always do these releases late at night after the office is closed, and everyone’s gone home, so they can’t be bothered by us miserable customers that might have ‘questions’.
Seriously, their offices close at 5 p.m. - about 20 minutes from now; and if it’s released at all today (Monday), it’ll be later tonight. Wherever you are in the world, go have dinner, breakfast, lunch; go to bed and get some sleep… whatever. No sense in hanging around here driving yourselves crazy. They ALWAYS do this. I’ve been through it many times before.

… and like most dysfunctional relationships, there’s always the hope that “this time will be different.” And like most other times, this time isn’t different at all.
My bet is that there’ll be some last minute snafu and the update will be release at 5:31 pm Pacific time on friday, May 1st.

yes’r! i’m so busy usually, this prerelease discussion phase is almost the entire extent of my ZBrush experience. i consider myself a novice ZBrush user, but a guru in patience (gladly and willingly)
