Does somebody know about Mac Zapplink? or it is the lost link?
usually close to launch, the pix guys work longer hours to make sure things are running as smooth as possible.
you guys got it good, with applications like xsi and stuff people sometimes wait days and weeks to get their licenses.
and i would bet on it that zbrush is bigger than softimage is in terms of sales.
what im saying is that these things take time, and to get around to all the users isnt an instant process. everyone wants their license as soon as they see the plug up ontop of this forum but reality is that they only have so many people working at giving out licenses.
ZappLink is not supported at this time.
As it is a plugin, it is getting worked on for compatibility with 3.12.
not included in the transitional version, read details on the first page
I wil be looking forward for the Zapplink plugin for Mac.
Regards
Aurick,
the link you provided in your post to the support thread does not work.
I just got mine and am breathing a lot easier. First try yesterday I got the error message but this morning I had an e-mail from Cleverlink with a download link. Everything went smoothly from there. I haven’t used Zbrush in so long I had forgotten most of what I knew, but was able to jump in and start messing about pretty quickly. Seems a little more intuitive than it was before. Now to start training myself again and become the Zbrush master I know I was destined to be.
Great news for you!!
Must be a relief finally, eh?
You might want to check out the book ‘Introducing ZBrush’ if you’re fairly new to it. Got mine at Amazon.
Pretty good book from what I can see. Hopefully, I’ll get to test drive it soon!
I wasn’t watching the ‘troubleshooting’ thread for information on the download links. I assumed that info would be posted here.
Can’t expect poor aurick to be everywhere at once!
Oh well… waiting… again.
I have moved more upgrade-related posts to the Upgrade Support thread.
Please do try to post in the appropriate threads. It makes life SO much easier.
Also, if you encounter an problem in 3.12 that needs to be reported, please see these instructions. Thanks!
Still waiting some good person who would answer my questions and put an end to my curiosity, hah ;D
- How does the real time Ao look like?
- Is it good looking when baking? Like Ao generated in XSI or MAX?
- How about texture painting rather than poly painting? (no projection master, but texture painting in real time)
- is anything from transpose master added to the main prog?
- can we delete loaded tools from the subpalette?
- can we reload textures rather than loading it again as a new texture??
- what about multiple textures? how do they work? can we do multiple painting on multiple subtools/textures?
- can we create layers on any subdivision?
I KNOW! lol
Where is all the info!?!?
Come on guys post some screen shots or at least fill us in here. I feel like this is payback from the mac users for having to wait for so long!
I am also curious if they fixed the layer issue in regards to detail artifacts remaining even after you delete the layer.
Hi,
Can I just confirm that ZB3.12 will definitely not work on powerPC based macs or will it work but is not recommened?
Yeah thanks Aurick, I did see that but I thought I’d better confirm just on the off chance that ‘required’ was meant to be ‘recommended’, I thought everything was universal binary these days.
Do you know if 3.5 is going to be free upgrade. I know it’s a bit cheeky seeing as we’ve had free upgrades since 1.13 but it may influence whether i get new intel mac now or later.
Question… can you warp and un-warp a tool in order to sculpt it with alphas in a easier way??
Thx:) free updates since 2001 and 3.5 is also free? Thank you pixologic!
ok guys… Leopard is up and running on my mac mini, and with it… ZBRUSH 3!!!
full wacom tablet support again… oh my i’m so happy… but so tired… must sleep…
