This is phenominal! You can almost get the feel of the texture before it’s even applied. Just awesome!
It’s so real, it almost smells real!

Truely outstanding work. The level of detail is breath taking… and now you say you are ready for the fine detail… holy cow! You really do raise the bar for everyone at ZB central.
I can’t wait to see the final texture.small_orange_diamond

One of the cleanest jobs posted lately.
Should be just above top row!
Micro-detailing. What are you on a NASA Mainframe???
Awesome
I was going to wait till it was done to rate it but no need!
Really an inspiring work!!! Thanks for showing us your talent
I’ve never seen a single model get this much detail in Zbrush. Is the detail we are seeing 2.5d or 3D projection painted on to the surface or what not. Would like to see more into your process when it comes to making stuff like this.
My pc is a very good one, but not nasa super calculator
2 gig of ram, and nice video card…
the main shape is done in 2.5D, but for the micro details I spend most time in projection master, or hiding most of the model to concentrate on small parts.
I refined few areas then Idid a first try to position temporary accessories…
Very hard!
I might try with marker master…
Wow, I must say that your work truly inspired me.
My works looks nothing compared to yours…LOL
And I have one question.
Before you begin modeling, do you plan a lot (gather reference images, come up with solid concept…etc) or just go with flow and improvise whatever you come up with while modeling?
Thanks in advance~
well, what can I say? FIRST CLASS!
Salut Sebcesoir,
c’est du bon boulot ! impressionnant le niveau de détails ! j’aime beaucoup

I’ve been creazy busy those days, I couldn’t work too much on my dude.
Now I’m happy to finish the accessories, modelised in max.
They’re are not sculpted yet, it’s just an intergartion test of the final elements.
I decided to remove the upper metallic protection, they were hidding too much of the top sculpting, too interesting details to be lost to me!
I agree about the projection - it blocking so much detail definitely bothered me before. Perhaps that can be a translucent plastic, though?
That’s crazy details right there!
It’s such an amazing model, you should do a tutorial about it!
Congratulations! Do you plan to texture it now?
Excellent, love the model. But can I ask: why no eye balls? So many other minute details, but no eyeballs. It’s such an important part of any character too.
You are taking this work well beyond. Really nice to see.
Brilliant, one of the most detailed models ive ever seen. Love the way you have done the cloth and kept the topology in top condition.
He must get a bit hot in all that gear though
WOW! That’s some amazing detail!
One observation, though (not really a crit): the way you have the goggles right now, it seems like the outer edges would be pulled up and away from the surface of the guy’s face. It seems like maybe they should go on first, underneath the rest of all that headgear, instead of on top.
Fantastic work.
Holy crap , awesome update Seb ! Insane model, i dig all these details
