Before texturing, I have to advance deeper in details!
Here’s the low res mesh. Its a modified version of angyuens face.
hey Seb! i know it, because you wrote it on your first post!
my words’re not to question you, they are for praising your work!
keep up the good work!
I love the skin detailing. Interesting expression- without a background context, he could suffering from trapped wind.
i like to see your progress, very nice model, now the textures,
Damn. I found angyuens free model thread, with the head you used here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=29164&page=1&pp=15
But well, the downloadlink is dead. Has any one an idea, where to get this nice stuff from? :o
Bonne continuation.
Matt
There’s nothing special techincally talking regarding my characters.
I usde zaplink, and photo references to project photos on my mesh.
Once my texture is projected correclty on every faces of the mesh, I open the flat version in photoshop to tweak minor defaults.
Regarding the eyes its mostly a material play. I use a very simple material, but I push the spec to maximum, then I tweak the speculaur curve to have a very sharp highlight.
If you have a nice model (even if its simple) and clean texture, with good rendering settings you have the keys for a nice picture.
Thanks you for the compliment!
Here’s a small update:
I added the lower strap, and upper elements to recive the metallic protection and the headphone holder.

amazing !
did you use some little tools the you projectect onto the surface, or you sculpt only ? I’m talking about the little stuff, a sort of button on the headphones…
great work
Its done mostly with pure sculpting, masking and projection master.
many thx bro !
Bravo pour l’ensemble J’ai suivi ton chevalier également, impressionnant de voir comment c’est clean.
ça doit horriblement ramer non ? peux-tu nosu décrire la bête ? =)
Impressive works, I love how the details are turned, verry clean as well. Keep it up
Sweet Detailing, Seb!!!
are we gonna see it textured? not that it needs it…looks rather lifelike as is. Truly admire your use of zbrush to bring life to these models…fantastic!!
I did it at work, my pc there is 2 gigs or ram, ati 9800 something like that.
The mesh is still pretty heavy so I have to hide a lot o the mesh to consentrate on small parts each time…
The texturing will come once the model will be finalised in 3d…
amazing work, very realistic!
Wow, that is insane detail! absolutely Amazing!
The main shape is mostly finished, so I reach the next step and start the micro detailing :
holy BOY
thats massive detail
excellent
OK Seb… Stop raising the bar… Looking at this perfect piece of geometry I could just chew my ZBrush DVD… I’ve never seen something THAT advanced.
Happy Microdetailing
Lemo
PS:This is a good time to make various backups of your work…
Hot Damn!
You make me weak in the knees.
Beautiful work so far…cannot wait til he’s done.
