Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Here is last nights overnight render. I worked on the skin some more, the foam and beer, the shoes are basically new, and as usual a lot of minor stuff.

Here is the uncompressed 4000px render: http://i.cubeupload.com/YozLjG.jpg

Looking really good, love her hair & skin, her clothes are super, are they hand sculpted, or did you use a clothe sim?

Have you tried different colours for the beer, being a sci fi chic, maybe a turquoise or lime green would look cool.
I think because it’s a jar, and not a glass, that it kind of looks like a urine sample in this colour.

All in all, this is a great piece, the last render is definitely my favourite, lovely lighting.

Cheers :+1:

Okay final piece, might try a second lighting or angle but this is finished model and shader wise.

Lot of fun to work on.

Absolutely lovely.

Been following the development of the image and I must say it is very nice, looks like you are a lucky man with a real love in your life!

Hey man thanks for all that.

To be honest, I am not worried about the ‘beer or pee’ thing, for a couple reasons,

1 - she’s holding pee? Does that make any sense?

2 - Since when is pee that color? In a cartoon, maybe?

3 - There are no other indications in the image to say that it would be something so juvenile.

I’ve posted it a few places and got the ‘pee’ reaction twice, and neither time did it come up in a natural way, but more a forced potty humor way that I am more keen to ignore than anything else.

I almost never go out of my way to airbrush people or things, or make them ‘hyper-real’. Life is not a product ad, and I don’t think in CG that we should always treat things like they must look perfectly sterotypical. It’s a half drank beer. It has no condensation on the outside, it doesn’t have a huge mound of foam on the top. It could maybe use some foam on the sides of the glass.

Not saying you’re wrong, just my thinking.

Last thing from this piece, a different angle.

Absolutely flawless. You’ve done an amazing job with this piece man. just amazing

Looks great! The new angle looks much better also, in my opinion. Makes her look taller which is always nice.

Adding texture added a lot of age to her, I think there is too much color/texture in it, so I will repaint it to make it look more ‘young’. Photoprojection and repainting. Cheating, but it’ll do.

Link is the references, they are pretty famous photographs of the same girl near the same age, I am bad with kids ages but I was thinking like 10-12.

very cool bust again, looking forward for more Update Yuri!

Thanks man. In an effort to get her back to her age a bit I added some fat, increased the skin thickness, and retextured her skin to look more transluscent.

Lovely sculpt, very clean forms. How long did it take? And do you start from some primitive, or do you use a basemesh?

Hi!. i know the texture are made in Zbrush,
can you tell me if you linearize them in any part of your process (i don`t know if Zbrush can paint linezarize texture directly or in the export settings, directly in photoshop / nuke) or always use them in SRGB just like you exported with default options of zbrush?

thanks in advance

I use gamma nodes in Vray/maya, so the textures out of zbrush are sRGB

Quick render test, only spent a bit of this, not making it a full project yet. I am going to put the eyes up for download when I am done.
