Yona's Little Adventures...

Hi guys

Finally, after almost 2 weeks off, i’ve found time to make the final layout of my creature.
All the legs and arms are plugged. Now i’m going to bring them in ZB to sculpt them. Then, i’ll only have the render left to do!!!

hope u’ll like the update

Excellent ! ça le fait bien comme ça !

uhh yeahh this is nice!
Would be hard to transport that print  but i guess it would look really
great as one.
Just one nitpick isnt the competitions title creatures and critters?
Might got two words flipped on that book :stuck_out_tongue:
Second angle with screaming one in the middle is great

Great work!

By the way, only 15 days, 14 hours, 40 minutes, and 2 seconds until zbrush 4!

printed it will be so awesome.looks really cool right now.<img src=“http://www.zbrushcentral.com/upload/atn.gif”>

Hey YONA, Im glad to see youre back! This looks fantastic! And the “creatures and critters” on the book is a really cool idea!

Yesss, it’s all coming together nicely! Great ! :+1: !

Thank you guys!
final question : DO I KEEP THE CLOCK?

Lovin the update! He looks more and more fantastic every time. I would keep the clock as it is setting the scene. It would lose that ‘bedside’ feel it you took it out. Keep going! Can hardly wait for the finished thing! :+1:

Thank you all for your support during my first contest!!!
I’VE JUST FINISHED MY CREATURE!!! YEAHHHHHHH!!!
i’ll post it with the final render next week! i want to spend enough time to be proud of it till the end!!

see ya!!

The composition of the volumes looks great with the clock, keep it if you can! :+1: !

I second that – keep the clock  (still not sure about the clock-face, though ;)).
Congrats for finishing this great model! Can`t wait to see the final presentation and the turntable.

Great work! I can’t wait to see the final render!

Thank you all for your help and feebacks!!
The rendering is soooo long… as i’m rendering in HD (for my personnal work ) it takes so much time … I can’t do a 5sec render table because there’s too many details all around my creature… just for the occlusion render i’m close from 8mn a frame argh…
So regarding my planing, i’ll be able to make the composite of the turntable and single shots next thursday…
i cross my fingers to be on time

Hi guys!
The contest is almost finished and i’ll be just in time
I need your help for the still picture. Which framing do you prefer?
Of course it’s only the occlusoin pass you won’t see the black part on the left picture.

Im’ waiting for your answer!! thanks again!!

I don’t like it. Can you make it all again but with more masks? Just kidding!!

He looks freakin’ awesome!!! Such wonderful work and imagination! I am very envious.

I would go with the first pic. The angle on the second one suggests to me that he is really tall.

Good luck in the contest Cedric! Not that I think you need it! Absolutely splendid work.

Hi Yona, looks great! I would go for the left framing since it shows more depth and is (for me) a more interesting picture…

just my 2 cents! Keep it up, I love this thread, great work!!!

M

II suggest using the first image, as it shows more of the lights on the top, better features the masks, and it is more obvious he is standing on the a clock and book. Good luck in the contest!

Hey YONA, just congrats for finishing this fantastic piece! I also vote for the first pic. It would make such a cool print! All the best

Woow the little guy looks really awesome, I defenetly go for the left pic too
Can’t wait to see it for real on your desktop :stuck_out_tongue:
