I don’t know what that is, but it’s awesome
I just hope it’s not a cuckoo clock… it would make a heck of a racket if that thing would come alive every hour hahaha.
Awesome!
Lemo
Disco : i don’t speak german but thank you
Super Glitcher : It’s a creature for the Cgcoach contest “Critters and creatures” you can see the original sketch page 16 But you’re right, it’s not an understable creature
Anyway, thanks!
Lemmonado : Thank you for thsis original idea! it will be great for an other version i’ll think about it!
Great progress, it looks awesome… and really funny!!
ao looks so cool
Awesome! Would love to see a turntable of this when you are done
Beautiful! (thanks for the tip on the Ambient occlusion-gotta’ try that too)
Hi! and thank you again for your support!
Since yesterday i’m sick sick sick fever, cough and shaking…arrggggh
SO i’ve decided to not working. I wanted to make several sketches for differents scenes including the clock and my creature. But i’ve only make the shots. I will draw the legs/arms tomorrow if i feel better.
I’ve discovered that if the clocks stands, the global composition is not very dynamic and will be hard to print… SO i’ve decided to make the clock fall.
Like this the global composition is much more dynamic and i’ll be able to make a lot of connexions between my creature and the clock which will help for the print.
Now my main problem is how big will my “little night maker” will be?
That’s why i post these pictures. I hope you’ll be able to help in finding the good solution.
1/My creature is much more smaller than in 2 and 3… and he’s at the top of the clock. I like this one because there’s a difference between the volume of the creature and the clock. Also if i put it on the top, i’ll be bring back the focus on the creature. And the size fits more with the name " the little night maker.
2/My creature is bigger. It looks like he was climbing down the clock. It’s also a good way to feel the movement. With all the legs/arms composition, it should be dynamic too. But his volume is too close from the clock…hum…
3/This time the creature is bigger than the clock… It looks like he was climbing down the clock too but i’ll be able to make him walk on the book too. I like this composition but i think it will be too fragile.
Don’t forget that my creature as a lot of arms/legs. picture P16
I hope you’ll be able to help me again
Too much fever, i can’t sleep
so i’ve decided to quickly draw the legs/arms instead off dying on my chesterfield.
Finally, the 2nd option looks much better than i thougt with the legs/arms don’t you think?
The first one is nice too… The 3rd is not a good option anymore but i don’t know …i can’t say…what do you think?
Hey Yona, sorry to here you are so sick. Get well soon so you can finish this awesome piece of work
As far as your concepts go I can’t decide between 1 or 2. 2 frames the shot nicely but 1 shows more of the lovely detail on the clock. All in all I guess framing is probably the most important so maybe 2.
I am sure there will be mixed opinions on this however
I would go for 2. I was thinking of 1 but for some reason he almost looks like part of the clock. I think 2 has a much nicer feel to it.
A lot of new thing here sinse my last visit. You just don’t stop to amaze me. Love the clock creature, and I’m a huge fan of your skeches! Brilliant is the right world I think.
You have an amazing style, and I guess you could say an amazing motivation, I don’t know why you’re not frontpage but 5 stars from me anyway cause I really think you deserve it! keep it up
Looking really good!
Really hard to say.
Maybe a mix between 2 and 3.
Right now i prefer the legs on 2.
Hope you get well soon:)
i also prefer a mix between 2 and 3. i really like the upper part of the 3rd version but the lower part of 2 is much better than on 3. so if you want to choose one of these i would choose 2 but maybe you try a mixed pose
Helloooo! Im back! :) I vote for "2". The foot on the book and the feet on the clock
s border look so cute! :)
Get well soon!
Thank you all for your support…
I’ll do the version 2 as soon as i’ll be better… for now, i can’t work… hope i’ll be on time.
Get well soon Cédric! My vote goes to number 2. !
Thank you Etcher! i’ll definitly make the 2.
You’ll have to wait till my next update. I’ll be of till next wednesday at least.
I’m too sick and tired. Usually, i spend my time working on ZB when i’m off.
But this time it was a bit more serious and lucky for me, all my work is at my office so, i’ve nothing else to do but rest
See you soon
