Hi Guys sorry I got distracted bY Sebs Shoes and Helmet

It was a good lesson though and still incomplete.

Jason i got hold of few old tutorials(faqs section), One where pixolator created a monster fish and detailed it, thats how I got the idea to create details directly on mesh without going for bump maps.

My level was 6 but when I increased it to 8 for some reasons I did not loose my morph details. So manged to create more details, but still lack enough polygons in the jaw area.

Thanks Womball

yes Iam not able to make edges and all crisper, same prob I had with the helmet now, even though I use pinch at his highest still its not coming sharp edge or even straight edge.

anyone can refer me a tutorial for it ?

Hey, where did you find that monster fish tutorial, I would love to see it.

Man, if you can’t make details at those levels you are having issues and it’s not a zsphere problem.

As you can see in several of my posts or on the Zsphere thread where ffroyd does clothing and everything, it is rather easy to do.

As for crisp details, again masks and piching should do what you need.

Try something for me.

Start clean, record a script, do a simple zsphere object, do what you do upto level 6 and post me the script so I can see what you are or are not doing correctly. Best thing I can think of right now.

I like your Dog head approach the best, really looks like it’s turning out quite well; the hands, and the bicep to fore-arm look very nice too. Can’t wait to see it textured

Thanks friends

Jason

I will do that the next time I touch zspheres.

Harmonic Heres the link for the tutorial

Prospect I have just detailed the head till now, whole body is still left.

More details update…

Help would be most appriciated.

Broswse through the thread, in last or 2nd last page there is another link, use that one- off google groups or soemthing.

Hey, I enjoyed that video, thanks.:+1: I actually ended up finding it in the Zbrush classroom. I thought I had watched all the videos there, guess not.

Ok Guys

Still influnced by Sebs inorganic modeling, here I tried something for my upcoming big illustration, I needed a hanging bridge and here it is

4 hrs work persistent with about 10 zbrush crashes

and it is still not detailed

i love the bridge!
gets me confused in how its connected some times kool stuff!

Awesome bridge!!!

Hey Jason need your advice

There are places where zspheres are just touching the other zspheres and not aattched to it,(examples, the crosshatch ropes touching the above main rope and not drawn out of it)

Now In zbrush in preview mode the mesh becomes one so it doesn’t matter but if I export to other softwares will it cause problem or leave gaps ? as the polygons arent welded… :qu: :qu:

If you have intersecting polygons in ZBrush they should intersect in any 3D application. Is this bridge made from one single Zsphere?

Yes Sirquadalot

It is one zsphere chain… and I am gonna build more complex objects soon

Ok I was going through more plugins and tutorials I had left out in hurry.

I went back to zaaplink, something which i was confused about in beginning.

The outcome was amazing…

The below images are of a cone of 15k polgons only.

I just used a texture I found on google and used photoshop to apply the texture using pm and zapplink, there were problems as it was creating seams, but with time I learned how to blur it out inside photoshop itself .

I mean the result is amazing and can save lot of time if used properly without going for deformations everytime when created with proper lighting and right material.

Good for game developers and comic artists like me.

Who created Zapplink ? I wanan kiss his forehead

Looks great!
Just be careful that you select images released to the public domain.
Cheers

Yep obviously man

Didn’t want to post that previous sentence alone but hit the enter key to soon lol… What I actually wanted is to make you aware of this exceptional tut from Ryan Kingslien:

It’s the tileable texture tut. That fit’s right into your scheme there!
I hope it’s something new for you!
