Amazing work, but like someone said earlier I believe, the eye shadow wouldn’t be applied to the inner part of the eyelid like it is now, that would be really painful!
wow, that’s pretty incredible! Truly wonderful indeed.
Looking good! Red hair with blue eyes is my vote as well.
Wish i cud have Skills like you, ur skin renders are damn nice compare to other’s…
Keep Rocking
Can you tell me how do you polypaint, I was trying with real photos at different angles but shadows and lighting variations were causing me a lot of trouble. I am guessing you used some evenly lit skin image is that right?
WoW wonderful
Hi there, commented on her back when you had added the peach fuzz and I questioned your plans for the hair…
The hair as it turns out came out well, I see now that you are fine toothing the details. As far as I am concerned yours and a few others on other cg forums are the closest I have seen to pulling off true realism. Are you planning on taking her to the next level with some mocap data for animation or are you just going to keep it at artistic single frame rendition?
Keep up the excellent work!!
Wow!
So life-like!
What I wouldn’t give for skills like that.
Amazing renders. Great progress. Are you going to do a full torso portrait with clothes? Your work reminds me of an another amazing zbrush artist who did a self portrait over on CGFEEDBACK. Cheers.

Could you say me some technical details?
This is Vray render? Which plugin use you for hairs and fur?
Amazing work once again,…I dont know how you crank these out after a full day’s work, but you obviously have an efficient workflow. And actually I’d like to inquire a bit about your early process if you dont mind…I know there are many ways to skin a cat, and the method one uses to build up the sculpt may not matter, but still I’m curious because you said the base was made in Max (I assume you mean retopoed)…Do you like most modelers start with dynamesh,…or do you actually model the base out using good old polygons in Max? While I am hesitant to even ask this,…I’ve seen a few other artists retain that old workflow, still hitting very good results, without having to go back and retopo.
You also mentioned early on that you ‘hand painted’ the texture. I assume this means you did not fire up spotlight with images and press alphas/textures into your model,…but that you may have had say, a specific set of skin pore alphas, and dragRect them to the model. When it comes to painting color,…do you use photoshop, mari or other 3d paint software? My apologies if you’ve covered this in the thread, but I didn’t see anything on this…I’d like to know more about your approach to hand painting textures if you dont mind…
In any case,…I can’t say how impressed I am by the models you post…jeez,…keep it up, and I’ll stay tuned.

just posting to follow thread. Great work!
fantastic !!
Hi all,
Here’s an update. I removed the make up to fix a bit the neutral expression ( but… as I saw with a rig it could had been done easily and mush faster…) and I tweaked more the hair shader, trying to correct some weakness of the vray hair shader. I also lowered the eyebrows, thickned the eyelash for the unmakuped version… I also tweaked eyes surronding socket color ,etc so some minor tweak here and there… and yes I may add some scars later.
The earring are just a test… I will do some shorter one so it do not have to interact with the hairs once rigged…
More to come soon. She will be rigged by the talented Clovis Gay ( I hope render times will not be too crazy … :S for sure it will not be fast lol )
