women

Hello. Here is my new work in progress. I my motive is to make it realistic and learn more anatomy and Improve my modeling skills. I would appreciate if you can give me comments and critics on the anatomy and topology.

Modeling-
I used Maya for modeling. The Face is almost done. The details of the face will be done later in Zbrush. The lower body is just to get the sense of proportions and the over all look of the final look. Pose is not final yet. I haven’t even thought about the costume, May be i am planning to combine the classical london outfit with steam-punk style. I have no aim of making a sexy female. This women is very simple clean and beautiful. The lower body will be sent to zbrush as a base mesh for details.

Female - I think everything looks about right. Just work on the armpits rear and
front. And the collar bone area, it seems like its missing something there, Maybe
a bit of sternum? Hands are correct, just a little big.

So the chest, sternum area is all very weird, and hands, and feet are too rough and not feminine. The head is the selling point for a model, either it looks like a woman or not. Your female head needs work, the forehead area is not right, you are giving her the newbie Frankenstein head. The upper portion of your head looks more boxy instead of smooth and soft like a woman’s would. Mind you, a woman can have sharp features, but anatomically, your head is not structured right. Before you start adding or covering up stuff with gear, clothes or anything, you should probably fix those.

O and knees and back are not right either…

I would definitely want to fix the problems. And as far as armor is concerned i am not going to model it until i am satisfied with the model. I really want to fix the problems. what exactly is the problem with the skull. ?

I just started organic modeling. I am a hard surface guy. I think this is my 3rd organic model and i am still trying to learn. I would do anything that takes me to learn anatomy. i am trying to look through books ad stuff and learn by self.
Your input is definitely valuable

Also 3d mob if you can be specific about the problem with the back and the knee that will be good. thanks i wouldn’t understand like that

So there are weird deformations on the knee, I pointed it out in the front with the ? mark. what seems to be the issues in most places is things aren’t accentuated enough or muscles are placed too closed together where it seems like they are overlapping or give off the impression that they are completely wrong.

Back of knee again has that issue.

Shoulder scapula and muscle placement is weird, and the curve of spine is not that pronounced.

Feet ligaments are way to obvious for relaxed feet. notice the length and how pronounced they are on the actual girl picture.

hope that helps. I’d go in depth but I don’t have time to do that right now.

Worked more on anatomy and changed the face. this looks more feminine. Please tell me if more anatomy issues. Thanks you.

Hey rajbir

Good work but you should improve:

The knee zone is something weird, you should work more on the complex muscles on there.

The shape of the ankle is not with the correct angle and the belly button is too low.

Keep it doing and good luck
