I have finished polypainting his body and props, so now i could concentrate on his head and eyes

so, before i proceed with a face polypainting, I have brought a low poly model of a head in to 3ds max to set up his eyeballs, so then i could bring in a proper eye geometry back in to zbrush for posing purposes

here’s 2 test renders of his eyeballs

and here’s a quick test with a displacement map applied to a head, so i could see, how the shape and the details on a head work with the character’s eyes

eyes seem far apart especially his right one

I’ve done his eyes assymetrical on purpose )

here’s a first stage of polypainting his had, just defined a color gamma and drafted out his skin and hair, all of the smaller details will be added on a second stage with a zapplink + more hair will be added as polystrips

so, i’ve exported all of the subtools in to max with diffuse and normal maps, here’s a quick test render in max, no photoshop yet )

nicely done with anatomy. I would like to see some more color and variation in the texture though. My favorite part on the render is the boots. Keep working on the texture and this will turn out great, nothing wrong with the model. Maybe do an expression on his face when doing final render, but it is not neccesary if its going to be a game character

So, i’ve brought in my renders in to photoshop. this is stage 1 of the photoshopping process, just defining the mood and adding some texture details.

Great job on the rendering, texturing, and anatomy! How many polys is this character? The character is cool too. I like your process. Now, all he needs is an adversary.

thanks guys, it is still in process of being painted in photoshop, i am still working on improving the texture of the image itself + i want to create some interesting background? maybe some dark alley with a paris on the background or some old city

he is around 100k polys

as for adversary, i will be doing some willain character when i am finished with this fella, but the only adversary for this image is the person, who’s viewing it, that is why he’s looking right at the viewer and his eyes are saying - one wrong move and i am pulling the trigger ))
