wow! great job, so clean and full of details, simply amazing.
Could you please for us to show your workflow as you send your characters to 3D printing, you cut them in parts as it does? I would appreciate very much.
Keep up the great work.
Greetings.
just soooo awesome *********
nothing constructive to say but gosh that’s amazing !
WOW, really really amazing work man. I saw all these guys on a gamer show at the gym today talking about comic con. Crazy to see that you work on all these… Great work thanks for sharing!!
patokali - I use Group Split alot to cut apart the meshes for printing. To close the resulting meshes, I sometimes use Fill Hole, or sometimes I export to Maya. ZBrush is now remarkably good at preserving upper levels of detail when re-importing an altered mesh. Also, I usually have a pretty good idea of where I will want to seperate the figure early on, that way I can adjust things like belts and straps to create natural breaks to hide the cuts.
Hope that helps.

How did you make this hose : http://clip2net.com/clip/m15854/1312229922-clip-65kb.jpg ?
It was done in zbrush with alpha or it’s modeled?
About time you got top row…
I love Marvel, and am aspiring to be a scultper. You…are pretty much my friggin hero.
I love Thing Hulk bookends they are really awesome. Hawkeye and Cap look incredible as well. Really top quality stuff. I bet its extremely rewarding to see your work being printed and painted for display at shows like Comicon.
Congrats on such professional work!
that is INSANELY good !
nice! can you explain how you got that perfectly tiling scale pattern on Hawkeye? thanks!
Is this a doll you created yourself? I love the joints in the image, it looks like a sweet place to start! How did you mesh the joints together in the end?
gratz on a well deserved top row =)
Trank you very much for your answer.
Greetings!
That’s awesome work! How did you do the toon renders on the Deadpool and Cap images? Looks very clean. Is it a mat cap?
Inspiring work!

First off, thanks to everyone! I am very humbled and inspired by all your kind words.

I modeled this hose. I made one short section, then duplicated it and welded it several times until I had a long, straight piece. I try to model things like this so I can add them to my library, and quickly make another one any length I need. It may take an hour to make it, but I can use it again and again forever. In this case I used a wire deformer to bend it.

Actually, I found early on that “perfect” tiling didn’t look right. Each row needed to be uniquely spaced. Especially as you get up around the neck. So I sketched the layout quickly in ZBrush, then created a bunch of scales in Maya and shrinkwrapped them to the body to follow the contours.
