in the first part of this video it shows how you can make a Qcylinder. You can use this method to get a shape to start from then stretch it from the top axis to get the oval appearance.

That would be better than starting from a QSphere. 
You’d get a clean oval, quick.

Here’s the latest project and sorry for not posting WIP shots.
It’s built as a fountain centerpiece sculpture - the water shoots from her tail into her hand.
I’ve put it on Gumroad, since it can be printed/machined in real scale with foam CNC machines.
Absolutly fabulous, I mean so simple, nice curve well rounded, and beautiful sculpt, congrats great job on this one, I love it.

I’m planning on putting it on for sale turbosquid. Retopo and uvs are ready… textures, hair and rigging to go.
Jellies:
This is by far the biggest challenge currently. Had to learn a lot about underwater lighting and caustics, but it’s almost finished.
Retopo, UVs, textures, materials and scene lighting setup done - currently working on the hair.
I’ve finished one freelance gig in the last months - maybe I post it here soon.
