The Spice Must Flow- Paul Mua Dib “Dune-Frank Herbert”:stuck_out_tongue:

@voodoodad - Thanks my dear friend, glad you like it LOL

@kokoro - Thank you so much for the great constructive feedback, really appreciated it, that you are taking your time posting on my thread with this amount of details. Glad you are liking him a little, I will definently rework the pores on the forehead and subtle down the overall layer of the skin pores. You are right aswell on the mouth area, did not look very realistic! It’s really great hearing feedback from you, because I always learn from it to look more often on my details and take more time to refine the model. Thanks kokoro:)

@JasonJbotBasse - Thanks buddy glad you are liking the expression! Means a lot to me. Yeah the inner of the ears:laughing: Constructive criticism is always very welcomed:)

@magbhitu - Thanks for the stop by and taking your time! Glad you are liking it and you are right, I had the pores on a different and will definently reduce the intensity of it. Aww I made a big mistake with the wrinkles on his forehead, used a crosshatch alpha with colorspray:laughing:that’s crazy but thanks for telling:)

@ViktorHD - Thanks man really nice that you enjoy him:)

@beholder - Thx for the stopby mate and commenting on my thread, haha well I didn’t use Mr.Roosevelt as a reference

@SpiritDreamer - Thank you Glenn buddy, great seeing you in my sketchbook! I really did’nt take Mr.Roosevelt as my reference, but thanks for giving me a great reference, I can definently see his skin detail and when I compare it to my sculpt I am totally off, thanks for telling and showing! Really means a lot to me getting such great concstructive feedback and advices, I will definently rework on the following problems which were mentioned! Thanks for letting me know:)

@FairCat - Thanks FairCat my dear friend for the great support, really glad you like it

@monstermake aka Rick - Thanks man glad you are coming often to my thread:)My reference really wasn’t Mr.Roosevelt  the only pres i’d do would be lincoln and obama

@SammehSAMURAI - I totally believe you mate, Ryan Workshop are the best out there and I have seen it, you learned ton of it and was every cent worth it!
Really thank you so for the great feedback, well I selftaught in zbrush. I started learning 5months ago right before christmas and never stopped till then  my college is a lot of modelling, programming etc… we hade no course for zbrush only a 1week mudbox workshop… WOW 1 week… Means a lot to me that you are liking my designs! Keep it going buddy and let’s keep on having fun zbrushing:):+1:

@teddy007kong - Thanks teddy mate, glad you are liking it so much! Really means a lot to me and definently makes my day made:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Here is the polypainted version, render and textured it last night and composited it right now in the morning. Still had some problems texturing it and after I started polypaint over the texture it made some odd dark and light spots, but I think I had the Color Variation to high on it^^ I have a little special sculpt did last night aswell in dynamesh, only 30min goodnight sleepsculpt with dynamesh sphere, but I have laughed my ass of :D:D thought I need to be posting him:D. I am currently working on a big project and well the modelling/uving drives me crazy but can’t wait till I can post it here. Hope you all enjoy.

Here is third WIP of my Hindu Priest of the Apocalypse and here is a quick shot of what I’ve got about a week ago and could post a final image aswell, but thought I get some advices from you all and feedback to it before I do, so maybe I can make a final change still a little time left. that would be great and highly appreciated:) had some problems, I overwrited a file after dynameshing all and now I have a body with 6million polys and its hard to resculpt the bad antomy, not really digging his body proportions but I think I’ll leave him like that. Tried to duplicate it, tried to dynamesh again and project on a lower version model…well that didn’t go that right. One question to you all, could anyone recommened or knows any advice on sculpting waves made of rock, for example there is a statue of Zeus with underneath him Water and Waves, hope you all know what I mean^^
All the best to you all and happy sculpting!

looks cool! The proportions, head and torso look good. The arms are foreshortened so its hard to say… They look fine in your composition. The oblique muscles and the abdominal muscles look sort of rumpled and I think need to be defined.

Im a zspheres guy not really using the dynamesh for the exact reason you describe, way too many polys in the beginning. So the only thing I would suggest is retopo and re-project. Sounds like you tried that though? No idea why that wouldn’t work unfortunately. Anyway good start, the skulls look cool on the neck too!

Thank you for the kind words, your work has definitely inspired me to delve deeper into Zbrush, I will try to post more work soon!

Your sculpt looks cool my friend;)
like Jason I could say to retopo the character so that you could fix your high poly problem…
Maybe the right hand with the skull is a little bit too small, but maybe its the angle.
keep goin the good work bro and thank you very much for your support, follow and your kind words ^^
Chris

Beautiful work, Kenny! Man, I wish I could learn Zbrush at even half your speed!

Gary (aka voodoodad)

HOLY TITS thats awesome… Amazing detail but what i liked the most about this one was that, at least in my view, it seems to me like you didnt respect, at all, some of the muscle simmetry, specially in the abs and that just made the creature look even more realistic and raw. Awesome job

Lookin good Kenny. The last Roosevelt looking sculpt and render was quite good. Lots of personality, which is great. I think capturing a good mood/expression/personality convincingly is a bit or a more of an advanced skill, that you already seem to have basically figured out. So props to you.

As for crits on the guy - since you are cool with whatever folks say that might help you improve - I’d say the overall head mass shape is a bit too round and egg like. Perhaps adding a bit more planar structure/foundation to the sides of the head, cheek, jaw area might help. Generally, the widest point on a human skull is above and behind the ears.

Also, the ears looked a little rough from what I could see, and didn’t seem to protrude as much as they should have.

These issues could also simply been a matter of the camera focal length too - in your render, or in the reference you were looking at if you were looking at any.

Good job man. You are on your way.

@Jason jbot Basse - Jason buddy thank you so much for the support and commenting here and giving me great constructive crticism, really appreciate that! I will definently refine the oblique muscles and the abdominal muscles aswell, will post my final version on Sunday, hopefully this version improved a little.

@Voivode - Thanks really great to hear I inspired you delve more into zbrush. That is every artists dream:)

@aliengraphic - Chris thank you so much buddy, glad you are liking it. You are right the skull looks a little too small, I have resculpted the body parts which weren’t that anatomical correct. Hope my final version will improve that:) Anytime mate thanks also for your support, really a great motivation hearing from you all!

@voodoodad - Thank you so much Gary, you are way too kind. You are the machine here my dear friend:)

@vicentenog - Thank you man for the great feedback, really made my day with it. Glad you are liking it, yeah well I went a little off on his body  Thanks for taking your time coming by in my sketchbook.

@fattkid - Wow thank you so much taking your time and commenting in my sketchbook, really means a lot to me. Getting advices and feedback from an artist like you is very motivation and I really appreciate it big time. I will definently work harder making planar structure in my models. I have done several doodles with planar structure, but somehow after I do a final tweak sculpt the hard edges turn out to become rounder^^ Definently need to work on that, thanks for telling and remdining me:)I didn’t really sculpt the ears on this one, should have spent more time on them… Artists like you see that immediately:D
Again thank you for the feedback, means tons to me and really drives me to work harder!

Here is a quick 1 hour self potrait doodle of myself  combined with an older mech-suit :D(renderd in zbrushg) - had to do something else, after all the work with my showreel project. Still a little to do but will post it latest on May 12. Hopefully I can show you till then what I’ve learned during the time here on zbrushcentral. Comments and critiques are as always very welcomed:)
