hi tm, it is great to see your workflow in detail. thanks for sharing… what a great idea to combine primitives, like spheres and tori, with zpheres to get the basic shape more closely. this is always what i found difficult to do with zspheres alone. … maybe reconsider the pose of the traveller once more? it lools quite stiff. i think, this comes form the spine, that it is too straight… but maybe this is intentional…

ZSpheres are my absolute favorites. So it has begun, and that’s been my motivator. I love Zspheres! That’s why I pushed aside 3ds max.

A new concept…a biomechanical suit for engineers similar to the shape of a mala’kak.
I have a theory: The space jockeys are the true creators. They are known under the name “Mala’kak”
They are much larger than the engineers, as everyone could see in the first Alien film.
The engineers are creatures of mala’kak, the first race, which was created by their seed. As in Greek mythology, the Mala´kak are the titans and the engineers, the children of them.
And what did the children of the titans? They fought their creators and wanted the power.
The engineers use naturally also the superior technology of their opponents and they modified. Therefore, similar to the navigation device of the Space Jockeys. Naturally adapted to the size of their own race.
And humanity gets now in a war between two powers, which fight with genetic weapons. ( I even believe that there are limited possibilities of time travel.)

A tip for those interested: There are many ways to model the forming glass sheets.
I have done the following: 1. I have a Sphere deformed , until it has filled the space to be glazed.
2. On the sphere, I then painted masks and then using the extract function to obtain the glass in the desired thickness.
That was the fastest way for me.
