Great thread youv’e started here, and your work so far is looking fantastic.
I’ll be following your progress, keep up the good work.
Congratulations on the top row - you deserve it.
Fantastic!!!
Amazing project
Very inspiring!
Zspheres, like it or not will became standard.
this is a work of a genious, artistic, zbrush master! you are the master of zspheres, congrats on top row!
further work done on Scapula

nice they look so clean, really nice textures
Excellent!
Your work is perfect. Keep it up.
I’ve just finnished reading all the threads on this, I have to say your talant on using z sphears is quite outstanding. Your choice of doing the human anatomy & the 11 systems of the body is indeed a very bold one, just the human skeleton part is challenging to get correct, but you have did a amazing job & I’m looking forward to the outcome of your impressive work. Congrats on top row very well deserved.
I am really impressed by your workflow!Brilliant results and congrats on having an exclusive top row slot without using a top end rendering engine!Your modeling is inspirational.
cal
Wow dude…amazing!!! Any possibility of offering these parts for sale or something. You could make a lot of money selling these tools and I could definately use them!!! Great Job!
Great stuff.
All you have to do now is Zsphere the entire nervous and circulatory systems .
This has to be the cleverest use of ZSpheres I have seen so far! VERY well done!!!
Amazing work and great to see all the ZSphere shots. I haven’t bought ZBrush yet. I’m waiting for the Mac version. I’m looking forward to the ZSpheres. They seem like a fantastic tool never mind the sculpting. A great way to build models.
Thanks to Pixologic for putting this in the top row as I did not expect that considering I am so early on in the project. THE GOOD NEWS------> I now have the use of a dual AMD 64 4600 with Windows XP and am going to take advantage of a licence transfer until the MAC release. YAY i can get cracking in ZB3!!! WOOOT WOOOT.
Thanks to everyone for your support on hear as the comments make me feel better about the work when i get tired of the meticulous nature of what i am trying to do.
One thing I have learnt is that this project as many of you have mentioned is much larger than I first anticipated and making the skeletal system is quite a challenge. Especially when attempting to get a great level of accuracy. I feel i will be always going back and adding more detail and accuracy as time goes by, but for now I have to realise a point of stopping and moving onto the next system, which will hopefully be an a weeks time (fingers crossed). The i will complete the digestive and the repertory systems as I have already 70% done on those, once again all in Zbrush using Zspheres. see this thread: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=49517
Hyper1 + banished: I am looking forward to the blood and nerves as i am an idea in mind of how to produce them quite quickly so we shall see if that works, especially as this time tomorrow i should be using ZB3.
skinnybones: I am excited to follow your idea and make a posed skeleton with sword and shield as like the film, but that will be one of those fun projects i will give a go over Christmas break.
comic_craig: I see what you pointed out and I keep making silly mistakes when i throw together the pieces for a test render and dont really pay attention but that will all come together in the complete test renders when the skeleton is done.
hyper1: hope you noticed i have used a different material for the teeth now ;-). also I have to extend the root of the teeth as they dont sit so neatly into the skull. Also that image example you put in this thread is a nice bit of reference of what to look for in a material quality. I have produced many bone materials but all in ZB2 and spent hours on them and also lighting to suite. I am hoping that with Z3 i can make some even better and more suitable ones.
Also thanks for your suggestion of talking to my tutor and your suggestion of how much i could get done in the time span as opposed to all of the systems.
Dondemaker: also thanks to you about suggesting i speak with my tutor. The outcome was to see how far i get when i return in January and so until then i have to pick up some real pace and see where i can get to. Proceeding that point i may be able to get some extra time to finish the other systems, but one way or another they will all get done. Its just a a matter of time and determination… and coffee
Hyde: on completing all the systems of the body I am indeed thinking about the possibilities of selling the parts together and separately, but at the moment that is just a thought and well I have much to consider before i do that. Thanks loads for your interest though as that is indeed a great compliment.
efflux: its worth the wait as you will never look back, only to smile at a wise decision you have made to get into ZBrush :-)[](javascript:zb_insimg(‘78658’,‘ZBrush-Document.jpg’,1,0))
this is excellent
I expect I won’t ever look back. I come from a traditional skills art background. I notice you also come from a traditional background and I suspect many here do. Although I have used other apps for modeling or even sculpting, I find normal SDS modeling tedious for building characters. The ZSpheres are actually possibly my favourite aspect of ZBrush. No other app has anything like this.
fantastic example of z sphere work. I am always turned off by “base mesh from maya/3ds” and these models are awesome proof of zbrush power.
absolutely epic skull! I am very intrigued at how you were able to model the eye sockets like that
Glad to hear you will be able to use ZB3. I upgraded about 10 days ago and I’m sure, like me, you’ll find it amazing. I had a look at your other thread quoted above - that looks great as well. I didn’t realize you had already started on some of the other systems. Keep at it - they’ll have to put you in Top Row again!!
