I’ve been putting off working on this model for a while until I got my new PC at home. In July I got the new PC (quad core, 8gb ram, 8800 ultra, dual raptors) but I’ve been spending so much of my free time sailing and enjoying the beautiful summer here in Madison that I’ve been a little side tracked. Now that the days are getting shorter again I’ll have more time to work on my personal artwork. I got to see a lot of artist demos at Siggraph last week and they inspired me to get back to work.

The model is getting very close to being done. There are a few more props, and then I have to figure out how to make convincing spaghetti :slight_smile:

Those of you that have followed this thread will notice a big change to his nose. For a while I was going for a camel-like nose, but opted back to the concepts feline-ish nose.

Man, I dig how ornate that jewelry is. Very cool. The expression and gesture of the camel creature is great too.

Oh I know all about that cat issue man! My ol’ rabbit Rufus loved to play with the keyboard and chew on my Wacom pen any chance got, he loved anything with power running through it general - fascinated him. (rest his fuzzy little sole). :wink:

I have the same cat problem. My cats are always on my desk, standing in front of the monitors. The one cat would even lay on the monitor all the time, but I fixed her…got me some LCD monitors instead :slight_smile:

Haha. Ive got cat as well and she loves using my tablet as bed while Im working.

Fantastic !

The feline like face is much better than the cammel one.
Looks a wiser creature now.

Big trouble with my cats here too lol they love to play with the wacom pens as well.

Nice details you added to the jewelry.

Xd i know the cat issue too, and your model is refreshing on zcentral.
if i had a wacom and my cat saw it… that would be the end of it lol it would be his.

I started to do a little poly painting, which I’m having a great time with. Here is a start, I plan on doing a lot more on it this weekend. My plan is to block in the colors with poly painting and then use zapplink and projection master to touch it up.
