Nice to see him in costume! Ofcourse, the big ‘S’ is still missing, but if you can do THIS, you can do that too. :lol:
One question: his boots have wrinkles now, but isn’t it with boots that they wrinkle like that only when leaning forward or backward? Offcourse, I don’t have superboots so I can’t know. Maybe you had a reason to do it?

I love this model!
only thing : he seems to be a bit older than Ross’s Superman because of muscles being a bit too relaxed in his throat area.
however its stunning work he reminds alot Ross drawings and i can say for sure you was very well ispired by him and put your cool style onto the model.

I’m with boozy floozie, Antropus - really great. The way a superhero character should be, love your approach to the character. As far as shaders and lighting, this approach works for me. Using some old school tricks you could get a better and very stylized look, over all those new fandangled words and approaches.

i love the details like the hinted stubbly beard, the lightly grey hair and the muscles.
jeez, i just can’t stop looking at this model! i realize it’s preliminary, but it’s incredible. IMHO, this is what superman should look like. lots of bulk but not too much. the new movie superman is just too thin for me.
on a quick side note, i watched superman 2 for the first time in a long time the other day. anyone notice how many times they show that damn marlboro truck in the city fight scenes?
