Thebest12 - I think 3rd parties are already in the process of doing them mate.

So I’m sure many others are. Lets be honest though, you can’t beat der man… J Drust!!! Kudos alert!!:+1:

This is a good community. opps I am thinking out loud again.

Yes, Joseph Drust is da man.

Plus, I read he went to SCAD, so that’s a big plus.

I like this community, too. I like that the experts are not arrogant. That can be intimidating to beginners
and intermediate level users. And there’ll probably be more people adopting Zbrush, once the edition with
the full fledged modeling tools is released.

So there’ll be more beginners, who won’t be scared to ask questions…and they’ll learn faster.

And one day, Zbrushers will conquer the world.

We just gotta dream big, ya know?

I guess we have to wait until Monday, because its know way they will release it on a Friday knowing Saturday and Sunday pixologic customer service is close, Really hoping it get release before jan 22nd, ill be shocked if they wait to the final days in January.

I self think they will release next month.

i hope that it will be release next week…:stuck_out_tongue:

I think not! Because it’s this time more than only a zbrush update. KeyShot is also to test correctly and put all errors out for work well then. Therefore i think they need more time than we or they self believe. Sad, but better wait a bit then have a stupid update, or not?!

And like i’ve said many times: With this waiting, many of us can learn in this between time still the old things on zbrush.
I self have already very problems with some things to learn in zbrush. Therefore i’ve not so problem to wait. But also i self be entusiastic for this coming update.

I personally think it’s finished already. I think the delay is, Pixologic team can’t agree on what cool ā€œTwo Steps from Hellā€ track to use on the new ā€œMaking Time for Artā€ video they will release!!! Let’s be honest, it’s gonna have to be a bloody long one with all the updates!! Either that or it will be soooooooo time lapsed you won’t have a clue what just happened!!

I personally think it’s finished already.

Do you know something the rest of us don’t?

Will pay virtual $$$ for insider information.

Doug - No, It’s just a personal opinion. Watching Joseph’s videos it looks pretty complete. But as they said they have 4 versions to test. I just reckon the software is finished but it’s all the other stuff (documentation, tutorials, vids, prep for mass marketing to those who don’t use it) all that lovely stuff we come to expect from a fantastic package.

Oh and a good sound track we come to love when they show us the goodies in action!! :+1:

can we get a hint of the current bug count?
any tips for developers porting their software to 64 bit?

do any of you guys ever post work on here, because when I click on people profiles I never see work from you guys? I was just wondering because I like looking at people sketch books

Just got inundated with new jobs, learning a new version would be problematic.
If the update could, perhaps, be postponed until Mid-February should work out
nicely.
If you can…
Thanking you in advance.

I haven’t posted anything here yet. Although I’ve had Zbrush for a decade, most of the things I’ve turned out have been done in traditional modeling programs, like Lightwave and Modo. I’ve posted and uploaded stuff for share on other sites though.

Trying hard to improve Zbrush skills. Coming along, but haven’t felt that anything I’ve done warrants posting yet.

I’m not a troll, I promise.

Some seem to want a further delay while they sort out the bugs… I’ll gladly test for bugs at this stage… bring it on!

Really looking forward!

I agree those bugs are looking really good

I read that the term ā€œbugā€ originated from an actual bug that crawled into one of those huge antique computers, messed up the works, and was literally squashed so the old computer would work again.

Just watched PBR demo for 3D Coat

I kinda hope Pixologic will be addressing PBR at some point. Maybe not for 4R7 but I would hope so for ZB5. Staying in one package would be a dream. Appreciate this is not always possible depending on certain workflows.
