More colorful tyrants from down under…

Makes me wonder what that would look like with a skin web between the spines. Great stuff and thank you for sharing.

Minister, I’m sure you’re aware… but I wanted to reiterate just how AWESOME these dinos are. Beautiful work!

Hi Zbrushers,

Heres a juvenile Allosaurus Fragilis…how modern scientific thinking presumes they would have looked with a covering of soft plumage. Its not all speculation as some recent chinese discoveries are really starting to back up this theory.

Fantastic man, you can really feel the accuracy that you put into this. It really feels very intracately designed from head to toe, which was your goal i think. You succeeded. Great modeling and texturing, and great fibers.

Out of curiosity, do scientists think they had thicker spiky things on top? Or is that just a guess?

Thanks Doggy.

The crested plumage occurs in birds and some modern lizards so it seems natural and logical that prehistoric creatures could have had these too.

Pete

cool! Thanks!

Those latest dino’s are Great…LUV EM…:D:+1:

Quality new images Pete. Top work

I completely agree with this as coloring the characters created by you, just yet to look at today’s colors of amphibians, reptiles and birds, and young and adult are highly colored (coloration masking)

excellent job !!!

Fantastic Dino’s .

ZBrush Document.jpg

Needed a break from all things scaley so I it was time for a quick 2 hour speed sculpt and experiment with fibres.

I strangely find myself only ever using the move brush to groom ?. The purpose made groom brushes seem to be too blatant in what they do.

You really make awsome dinosaurs! Only thing I think, is that they look a lot less scary with the fur on.

Hi Peter

From what I can see on this forum for this project is quite a big undertaking when you will see all of your creative work and where?

Model Komsognathusa as usual good and inspiring
