1st in a series, no doubt.
Very Nice Caz Interesting how you put the red phenomena into the picture so well
David
I like a good starfield…and this is a good one…reminds me of the starcharts on the bridge of the original Enterprise…
Nice Kaz!
I’ve done a few of these as well although I haven’t posted any…
I’ve found that selecting the darkest shades of colors, and painting those colors in, you can then quickly produce nebulae and gas clouds with the Shading Enhancer, and highlighter brush, followed by adding Simple brush stars with high-intensity colors…
So how did you do yours?
Thank you,
I love starfields and such as well. Never tried it with Z until now. I would love to see others. I will post more in this thread and post the scripts as well. I hope they improve…
I created an alpha brush and texture, much the same way as I create clouds
Just used a different color and some other alphas. Finished it off with Shading Enhancer, Highlighter, Glow, and sharpening. Larger stars are laid in with a DragRect stroke, Small Alpha (47?), and a low RGB value, then Repeat Stroke until desired intensity.
nice one Kaz. I did not know you were into space. I like to colour of this image.
Just a quick one. Only took about 2 billion years to create…
you have been into space? this gonna be one of my favorite series, Kaz!

ooooo I love the second one the best! But both are outstanding!!
These are great Kaz. I like the colors in the second one best.
Kaz you are on to a very interesting project. I like all these images a lot. I am looking forward to the other omages in the series.
DeeVee,
Joe.
I really like these Kaz. They are really great looking. I did a couple of space scenes using colored, alpha fog when I first started with ZBrush. Yours show so much more detail. The lighting/shadows on the space station are especially good. I definately look forward to seeing more of these
twins
these are looking pretty swell…

That is very nice work Kaz! I like the way you incorporated the “detailing” technique into this.
Nice Kaz!
Oh this space Jouney is great especially the one above --but my first urge is to see them slide show style…bet you could make a good little movie out of these so far !!
