Hey all hope all is well,so this was a study I did last week, The actual modeling was done in Max but the textureing was a combo of Photoshop and Zbrush. I should do this more just because it was pretty quick. Far from perfect it was a good study. Stay Metal

Hey all long time no post, sorry school has been crazy. So what I have for you isn’t what you think. I’m trying to alter my pipeline, Over the last month or so I started sculpting in mudbox and trasfering stuff to Zbrush and using Zapp and the poly paint stuff. So here’s the results, I’ll keep you posted, Keep on rocking. Please note the grey meshes are just the mudbox sculpts. Its pretty cool how alike these two apps are. Again texturing in Zbrush 3.1. I don’t even know if I should post this on the forums here but I think its cool how the two rival apps can be used in tandom. Hope I dont make anyone upset. Dave your work is very impressive. You must have some amazing images rolling around inside your head every day. You have definitely found the work flow that overcomes not enough time to create so many amazing pieces of work. Keep it up. I can’t wait to see more!

this is by far one of my most favorite pieces, but then again I’m bias cause I love environments. Still it looks amazing and definitely think you have an amazing gift.

So I just graduated and now my new study is still focused around modeling but I want to start to take the art assets to the next level, this was not my best rendering nor was the lighting great but its the start of me attempting to take individual assets to level and hopefully beyond what I do in my scenes. I have soo much to learn so again thanks for checkin it out and stay metal. Thanks again and go Zbrush

Wow, simply stunning work throughout your thread! Awesome detailing!
You have some amazing, intense texture work there.
One minor crit:
When everything is brought to the same intense level of detail, it all starts to blend together and lose interest. I would try focusing the detail into pointed areas and allowing some spaces where not as much is going on, to allow the eye to “rest,” and give more interest/contemplation to the other points. Just a thought.
Hey dude yeah I totally agreem I’m a detail whore, lol I love the rocco and the baroque but yeah hopefully I’ll be able to post some more simple zbrush stuff soon, like paint peals ect. Thanks again man \m/ I agree do alot to learn. Stay metal dude and thanks for the killer feedback
