Some Zbrush and Max Work

what can I say David, another amazing piece. Really inspiring mate, because I am working on a Maja Environment so this wonderful artwork of yours could be a good inspirations!
Thanks for sharing this , really outstanding environments sculpts mate.:+1:
One question did you polypaint the texture?
Cheers,

  • Kenny

Its actually a procedural shader. that uses uv direction and some world space stuff to get the look. Its kinda cool at least from the tests I did because its a large scale solution potentially to something that can be a huge pain lol

Are you doing these enviro speed sculpts in Zbrush or 3Ds Max David?

Your environment work in zbrush is astonishing!
Cheers David,

Sweet damage

Always nice to see:)

Hey all hope all is well. Its been busy as of late lots of cool things happening. I’m lucky enough to work on another Gnomon DVD so thanks so much for the support. It still in the works its going to be focusing on rendering, with an overview of several different renders. If you have anything you would like to see in it please shoot me an email if I can and it fits I’ll try to add it. The image was done with Max, Zbrush Vray and some Post in Photoshop. Took about two weeks to complete. Thanks again DaveUntitled-2.jpg

classy render mate - gotta love Vray.

D.

Super renders bro. Please tell us how do you render all this with vray. I am not getting a good tutorial on how to get such awesome details in max with vray or mental ray. Please share work flow if possible.

Is there a chapter about rendering in Zbrush, or just V-ray?

really inspiring! Your work makes me want to do more environmental stuff

One thing I really dig with your work, that also really sets it apart from a lot of/most cg renders, is the atmospheric, illustrative quality of your final image. Would be cool to see some info on that. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks guys I’ll go over it in the dvd, it mainly has to do with contrast. Thanks for the kind words

Dave

morrisCowboy great work dude!!!
