Looking good. It seems like 95% of the time I prefer the non-colored model to the ones that are all gussied up. The colors usually obfuscate the detail of the model, confusing, blurring or fighting the forms. But it seems like your palette is subdued enough to avoid this problem. Kudos!
The saw blade coming out of his crotch is just messed up beyond words. And what’s the hose coming out of his nipple?
Really love this gobbas dude you’re making. Can’t wait to see him finsihed :).
26 million polys!
My system is creaking when I hit 2 mil!
Please tell us what kind of a set up you’ve got.
Never heard of Modo 401 before (forgive my naivety). What are the benefits of this program? Maya or 3dMax seems to be the norm for most modellers so I’m curious . . .
Awesome progress on Gobba! Can’t wait to see that one finished .
Awesome job Schiefer !
Scrybe: Thanks a lot. Same over here, normally i prefer the noncolored versions too, thats why i try to keep the coloring as subdued as possible without getting too monochrome lets see if it will work out
stoyan3d: Thanks, want too have him finished until end of this month
Klephed: quadcore at 3ghz/ 8gb ram
Modo401 - very fast and swift subd modelling it does i love it. Used to work with max before and had a go on maya, but now that i have modo i use that for most of my polymodelling and uvs.
Etcher: Hey Etch thanks once more for stopping by
I promise he will be finished soon.
Lucky_1: Thanks, glad you like him
here is something different to what i do mostly. A cartoon lion - did that one for a Friend hope you like him

very nice work. Question, when you are sculpting the heads, are you using reference photos for certain parts of the face? or are you using one set of photos from a person?
wow excellent work! I also expect the answer to the question of adio…
The b@d@ss looking hatted guy in the top picture is a character from Preacher the trade paperback.
To schiefer, it’d be great if you go for Cassidy next time.
adio38: thanks, i use different refs sometimes just parts, sometimes complete sets of one person.
andream: thanks a lot man
Serek: yes, he is called the saint of killers -glad you could identify him
cassidy is a good idea i will try him sometime
since i got my zb4 yesterday i played a bit with the shadowbox
