I can see you have spent some time to clean and ballance things out, but now is the time to look righ back on anatomy, if anatomicly is what your looking to achive that is. If so il give more help in that area.

I would start with the neck muscles, first being the sternom mastroid muscle(sternom head),this should be attaching to the sternom and the second muscle attatches to the (clavical head.) This is off the top of my head so your need to check for details but at the moment neither muscle is attached to the correct place on your model.

Can you take the head picture and draw-it ?

Here this should help. You see the two muscles one to the sternom, one to the calvicle.

Here again some clothes on him. Not happy with them tho, but it’s too late here to make them look better, I’ll try the transpose master on it.

Good to see you have stuck at it. Hope you have learnt alot from this character and made plenty of notes.

Iv made shed loads of videos for myself, warnings on what I did wrong or how I aproached somthing.

Restarting from scratch again next week. This weekend is the 2nd phase of my tattoo. Will have plenty of time to achieve my goal, having the perfect basemesh for my company. (by The end of November, else it will be in June 2009)

What I’m seeking is to have :

  • Bodybuilder Male/Female 5-6-7 head high
  • Regular athletic Male/Female 5-6-7 head high
  • Manga type Male/Female 7 head high
  • Fantasy : Dwarf, Orc, Elf with respective proportion.
  • Organic Robot.

Good to see your sticking at it.

If you delete a few higher levels your find your mesh will look much smooth when adding them back. Athough you will loose some detail, it will give your model a much better look.

Also if you have all your lower Sub-D Levels try using the Move brush to direct the edge flow better. Not only will your model look smoother but the anatomy will apear more precice with better flow.

Il be happy to give more anatomical crits if you require via the use of your pictures, easyer to point out things that way. If not keep at it and keep looking at every exsample that matches your goals.
