Each year at the SIGGRAPH convention, Pixologic brings together an exciting lineup of talented ZBrush artists to present their workflows and techniques. We are pleased to share with you a taste of these exciting presentations in the following movies…

These videos are being released at the rate of one each day beginning Monday, August 27 and continuing through Friday, August 31. Today we will start with:

Movie 1
Illustrating the power of the new retopology features in ZBrush 4R4, including the Retopology Brush and Mesh Replacement.

Demonstrating several FiberMesh techniques to create realistic hair.

Showing how ZBrush 4R4’s new DynaMesh features make it fast and easy to create complex hard surface shapes.

Mastering the Insert Multi-Mesh Brushes, including how to create your own Tri-Part Brushes.

With Michael Pavlovich from Certain Affinity. He has created five video ZBrush tutorials for Eat 3D and is known at ZBC as Pavlovich.

In addition we also hosted three artists from Industrial Light & Magic at SIGGRAPH: Kris Costa (Antropus), Martin Murphy and Frank Gravatt. They drew a crowd that flooded the aisles as they presented their work on a series of movies including “The Avengers”, “Cowboys & Aliens”, “Transformers” and “Rango”. Great first video. Want to go and retopologise something now.

One question. He says we can extrude from the lip line and eye line. How do we do that?
