that would be so cool! hope he does too!
Do you know what happened to the other prints by the way?
I only saw harley quinn printed :S seen the others?

Energise: No, I have no idea… That’s actually very weird
I think we almost have to ask him
adampof: Thanks, hmm okay, I’ll post, just have to do some thinking first
Hey man, good sketches… I would like to see the finished skeleton … hehehehe …
Gilberto Magno: Thanks a lot man!
I saw your Zlagor WIP a couple of days ago, it’s great!
I like how you develop characters from a fictional story that you’ve made up yourself.
I also have a story, pretty rough but I should also be sculpting those characters, must be motivating
The concept drawing is great too
Aaaah, finally… anatomy!!! The skull looks great - thanks for sharing the Ztool, and for showing how it can be used to freestyle character heads
! Man, I’m gonna’ have a blast following your anatomy studies/sculpts/experiments/findings
.
Etcher: Hey, glad to see you back here again
Hope you had a relaxing and inspiring vacation
I’ll get started on the rest of the skeleton as soon as I get my hands free again!
I have been thinking a lot the last days about how to go about model the different parts of the skeleton.
I tried creating a basic spine in C4D, and “automate” the placement of the vertebrates, and with some adjustment by hand it might work, and do some individual detail to them in zbrush.
Well, I had about 20 minutes this afternoon to try some solutions out, and decided to work on the chest cavity for a moment and get away from the frustrating spine, just as a test, and understood that the smartest way to do it would be the “Etcher way”
I appended a Zsphere as a Subtool to the skull, and then added a couple of more Zspheres to it, Zsketched it and did some quick sculpting.
Without using any reference I came up with something I liked incredibly fast(at least to me) with great control but with a freehand feel, and it made me realize what an amazing potential zbrush have!
No more base meshes, Zbrush does the job! Threw in a quick Zsphere spine as well to finish it of.
NOTE: this is just a test and will be redone more accurately for the real model later on.
Woohoo, way to go! Now sketch on the ribs and extraxt, no more basemeshes - right on!
Very nice start. looking forward to more.
digging the skeleton…cant wait to see more!
Hey Santis, totally missed the last updates…
I had to grin as I read “Etcher way”… hehe… But doing it the Etcher-way is definitely a good thing since he is an anatomy master.
Your test is looking GREAT and I`m looking forward to seeing your next update.
Etcher: I will!
Aberant:Thanks, glad you like it
sarakawa: Thanks a lot!
Moni-Poroni: Thanks you! To be honest I have kind of missed your last updates too :o
So, since the last time I posted here I have made a new chest cavity with better topology and proportions.
When the stand in spine is replaced with the real one I will be able to place the ribs accurately on the chest.
It’s one vertebrae of each kind, when they are all placed correctly I will go in and do some tweaking to each one of them.
Crits and comments are as usual very appreciated

Very nice santis!
those spine disks are looking great!
When you are all done you should post it on some site where people can buy the whole thing.
I would love to have a skeleton to sculpt around in ZB
Keep it up man!
Great job, this is very nice work. Lookin forward to more.
